Who all has seen it? Is anyone like me? (I can sit there and name almost everything they're spoofing at almost any given time. I'm such a nerd... YAY!)

Remember the guy who asked all the techincal questions? (Brandon, I think his name was.) Watching it on TV last night made me realize: I know that guy. (I told him that. He laughed and said it was true. ^_^)

Also, in the true spirit of Trekdom, my friend Katie and I were in the lunch line today, laughing about Q and the Red-Shirts.

I liked that they included a guy who represented the old Trek
"red-shirt", "5th away-team member."

They always beamed down with 4 main characters,
and one guy in a red-shirt we've never seen before.
Of course, he's not gonna survive his first scene.

He IS, however, allowed ONE LINE.
"Captain, I've found something."
Then they catch up to him, and he's lying there dead.

Ever see the South Park when they reminisced about all the old
episodes (and got everything wrong?) Their school-bus had broken
down. The driver's instructions said to go for help, but tell the kids
there was a scary monster so they'd stay in the bus.

Eventually, one kid decided there WAS no monster in the forest, and
he was leaving.
When he turned back to fire off a final retort,
his shirt was clearly visible.
He was wearing a red shirt with the old USS Enterprise logo.

The audience didn't need to see the rest of the scene to know he
wasn't going to survive. smile

(And he looks great in a dress. ^_^)

Yeah, I saw a South Park comic-type thing. There was a Kirk, a Spock, and a McCoy on the transporter pad. Then the Kirk pointed at a guy and said, "Oh, and we'll take that nameless red-shirted ensign along with us, too."

I bought it when it was first released and I've watched it...literally...countless times. The other night I watched it with my boyfriend (who had never seen it before). I swear, it was more fun to watch his reactions than it was to watch the movie! Especially at the part near the end of the movie where the Protector is trailing the mines...he burst our laughing at that part (and more)

I loved that movie!

My favorite part was when Tim Allen's character was running from the big rock giant and he says, "It's a rock! It doesn't have any weaknesses!"

has any one noticed that the ship in that movie looks vaguely like a federation ship?
