is it just me...or do azn parents seem to make up stories for bad things we do...?

cuz my grandma and mom tell me weird stories to get me to be a good boy haha

*while i lay down and eat while watching tv*
IF U LAY DOWN AND EAT AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL GROW A TAIL!
((i was young so i thought..i want a tail...never happened haha))

*while i was playing with the hose*
STOP PLAYING WITH THE HOSE OR YOU WILL GET SUCKED INTO IT FOREVER!

lol...yes....they said if i swallowed a watermelon seed, it'd grow in my stomach, and i'd explode...i was in the bathroom for an hour, making myself puke.....

mr. angmar told me once that cross a black cat it was bad luck. (he was right) hmmm their was one....if i cut my nails at night time my familly well never see me grow up.

and that we cant point at the moon.. (coz it will give bad luck as well)

if i lay down and eat.. she would say that it's bad because only snakes do that.. and according to China, there was one verse.. which i forgot.. blaugh

the watermelon seed reminds me of chuke from Rugrats haha

and my mom also said

"if you point at a rainbow ur finger will fall off"

aha, my mom said not to bother her or touch her shoulder while gambling or else it would be bad luck for her and for me [yeaaa rite], && that if i didn't finish all the rice in my bowl, i wouldn't have a good looking husband [i was like 8 at the time so i didn't care]

Well, it's not just Asian parents. Every parent has a "bad story" they tell their children to make them behave.
We're little.
We're gullible.

HAHAHHAHAH yea!! ummmmm there's one when me and my cousins would be talking when we were supposed to be eating, so they told us our food would run away....like always never happened but scared us cause' we were so young...lol.

The only ones I've really heard are the typical superstitious things, but my parents didn't really use them. The only thing I can really think of is when I'd make some sort of face, and they'd say, "If you keep making that face, it'll stay that way forever."
