I know it's only 2007, but the countdown to the 2008 Olympics has begun. These Games have been the subject of much controversy, with many nations around the world threatening to boycott the event. Still, for the time being, everything is going as planned and there is a lot of excitement and anticipation in the air.

I've been keeping up with the construction of the National Aquatics Center (the "water cube") and the Olympic Stadium (the "bird's nest"). Heard something about the stadium being finished one year ahead of schedule.

BTW, the 2008 Olympic emblem looks good. (But London's 2012 logo, errr....)

Cool. A thing that I learned about it though was that they're not on schedule right now, so they're rushing construction. :S Hope it still turns out okay.

i heard that everything is really expensive over in china because of the Olympic games... so.. i know the plane tickets are reaaaly expensive
