My (Short) Poem- The Heart of a City

[Lhia Dunwaith]

Take me
Take me to the heart of a city
Any one will do
Just put me there
With all the action
The glamour
The ability to be free

I swear I can see an angel
On the top of that skyscraper
But time can't stand still forever
I know I'll have to go back
Eventually
But for now I'll live on other thoughts heart


I write a lot of free verse. I'm not good with rhymes.
