I've been looking at this game over the Internet, and it looks awesome. But then, so many RPGs do, and then you play them. The Tales series is know for its quality and depth, but a friend told me quite frankly that it sucked. Is there any truth to this? (And what about anime cinematics?)

Tales of the abyss is a japenese DS game right?
Ya... my freind an i love the tales series... and ive played most of em... but theyre not for everybody... most RPG fans dont enjoy the real time action style battle system....
Meanwhile i love it... it was better and more accomodating to multiplayer co-op in @D though in my oopinion.
