so i bought all 3 seasons of tos and finished them in 4 days, and i had some more time so i started to watch the movies then wrath of khan comes on and im watching is and Ricardo montalban says "you i remember, i never forget a face" (to chekove) then i said hay wait a second thats not true... LIER!! so just to prove that i wasnt paranoid i watched "space seed" (TOS season 1) is it me or is chekove not in it!!! am i just realy net getting it or am i beating the low budgetness with a stick.

Chekov first appears in season 2.

We have no way of knowing if Chekov was on the CREW and just not
a TELEVISED crew member. Khan WAS delving into the ship, and
getting to know the crew was an important step, especially if he was
going to outsmart Kirk.

Ha! I noticed that too! It's funny, because if he wasn't on the ship then he didn't interact with Khan at all and there is no basis for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

But I dunno, he could have been on the ship doing something else or just didn't have a position on the bridge. Khan probably did check out the whole ship.

Maybe we could assume Chekov was a janitor or a security guy or something?

They tried to make Chekov sound like a cool guy. They failed.

cbs tryed to make him more attractive to appeal to the younger croud but the studio put the show on at 10:00am so the show lost viewers due to time positioning.

Quite possibly ya never know...he might see through the 4th wall eek

though that isn't what it means to break the 4th wall
