I don't quite remember where I heard this from, and it doesn't quite pertain to the subject, just thought I'd throw it out there.
To know God is to know madness.

There are so many views on Christianity, and I am Christian. Recently, I had been told certain things for fact, and was not even allowed to argue my opinion. These are those:

-God has no gender and is referred to "he" only so we can wrap our minds around the "father" concept

-Angels have no gender, and were created only to do as God says. There is no room for disobedience, they have no free will.

-Men cannot become angels. (Men being generic...men and women.)

-Christ is God in man form. Christ is God.

DO NOT FLAME IF YOU DO NOT AGREE.

I've been a Christian for seven years and still can't tell you if this is true. I'm really not sure. At my church we express opinions freely and are corrected by biblical terms if we're wrong. But that's what I'm told.

I really don't grasp the concept of christianity. :/
That's why I'm atheist.

So therefore, angels are mindless slaves to god?

Though, wasn't Lucifer (Satan) once an angel?
Yet, he disobeyed god, and was sent to hell.

But if god knew all, then he knew Lucifer Morningstar, would betray him, seeing as angels have no free will. Doesn't that mean god engineered Lucifer's falls from grace?

For the record Lucifer and Satan are meant as different entities, Satan as in the devil is seen as a corrupting force to stand against all that is right and holy, Lucifer serves the purpose of punishing the wrong doers and providing a foil for god who both understands and sympathises with god as god understands and sympathises with him.

I kinda gave up on Christianity a few months ago. It just didn't make sense. Since then, I've become a Wiccan. (sorry to Christians, it just wasn't my religion)

I'm Christian but I guess I've entered that phase where you question everything. How do you believe words written by man (Bible)?

I'm Atheist. Simple as that. Not gonna start a religion war either so, you don't like it? Too bad. :3
