In general, what are the most emotionally moving songs you have heard? For me, it's (in no particular order):
*The Funeral Party (The Cure) *Goodbye Blue Sky (Pink Floyd) *The Last Beat of My Heart (Siouxsie and the Banshees) *Betrayal (from the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack) *Laura's Theme - Reprise (Again, Silent Hill 2 soundtrack) *Leaving Hope (Nine Inch Nails)

The most moving song I've heard that still brings me to tears each time I hear it is "1000 Words", from Final Fantasy X-2.
Though some others are among the following: Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - "I Want Love (Studio Mix)" (from Silent Hill 3) Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - "Room of Angel" (Silent Hill 4) Smile Empty Soul - "War" Smile Empty Soul - "Nowhere Kids" (Not sure why, but it's brought tears.) Gackt - "The Last Song" Gackt ft. Wang Leehom - "Orenji no Taiyou" Gackt - "December Love Song" Dope Stars Inc. - "Generation Plastic" Emilie Autumn - "Rose Red" Dope - "Sing" (Not necessarily moving in the tearful way, but eh) Dir en grey - "aint afraid to die" Dir en grey - "Conceived Sorrow" Nightwish - "Bless the Child"
I know. I'm weird. >.<

- "Sing" - The Dresden Dolls
- "10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)" - Tool
- "Last Dance" - Sarah McLachlan

- "Aerith's Theme" - Nobuo Uematsu
- "Suteki da Ne" - Nobuo Uematsu/RIKKI
- "Fragments of Memories" - Nobuo Uematsu

"Dear Mr. Jesus" - I don't know who did that one, but it's the most heartbreaking song I've ever heard. It's about child abuse. "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" - from The Phantom of the Opera. "Hello", "Like You", and "Good Enough" - all by Evanesence, each one sufficient for bringing me to tears. "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot" - Again, not sure who performs it, but it gets me every time.
