I need help. I'm going to my first anime convention, and I have no idea who to cosplay as D:

I'm willing to:

-Wear any type of costume
-Get certain peircings
-Wear a wig
-Buy an expensive costume

Here's my picture:

I know.. ugly.. but, eh, what 'cha gonna do?

Characters I was thinking about would be:

-Tohru from Fruits Basket
-Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club

Please help! I'm truly confused at what to do. Plus, I will love you forever and ever if you choose the person I decide to pick in the end. Maybe even gold for 'ya :O

Anyway, I can also:

-Cross Dress
-Dye my hair (really depends on the color)
-Wear colored contacts
-Wear glasses

For a better response, maybe try the Cosplay and Conventions Forum?

Think of series you like that haven't had over-done cosplays, but still have characters that are recognizable.

I say you should definatly go with Tohru, you would look great, and believe me, you are hardly ugly, i know plenty of people who would give a lot (including their first born children) to look as good as you do. Have a good time at your convention. *goes off to sulk about missing Sakura Con*
