Korea was Japanese territory. Japan tried to delete the korean language and culture.
Making them fully under Japanese influence. *failed though*

Well, Japan did alot of stuff in the past that we're not proud of.
Most of it isn't the Japanese peoples' fault. They had a corrupt ruler during WW2
I believe is what happened.Germany had hitler, Russia had Joseph Stallin. and Japan had some other dude. a horrible person. the children of japan were taought
to love the wars, and hate the other countries. they were told that it was better to die, then to lose to the other countries. so during WW2, many people commited suicide, before they lost the war.
It's all done by corrupt rulers. It happened in the past, and the past cannot be changed. Japan can't change what they did, so their paying back for what happened in a way. they made friends with america even with what happened between them. Japan: Pearl Harbor. America: Hiroshima.

Now, the things that happened between the Korens, Chinese, and Japanese, I'm not too sure of. All I know is that right now, Japan is allied with South korea, and
is against North Korea.

acording to my dad whos chinese.......... it has somthing to do with the japanese killing a lot of chinese and the government (not the soulders) didn't apologisze or recongnize that it was true and didnt put it in their history text books....... it's like us saying the holocast never happened... of corse a lot of people would be mad and the japanese are cooky and aragont (talking again about the governmnt). so i guess during that whole thing korea doset like them eather.

yeah. i just watched a video about the Nan King(or NanJing) massacre. When Nan Jing was the capital of china, the japanese bombed Nan Jing and Beijing. I was going to cry i swear. There was this man, who lived through the bombings, but he saw his mom and baby brother being killed. His mother was stabbed at least three times, and right before she died, she breast fed his little brother for the last time. And the japanese soldiers stabbed his little brother and threw him to the ground. sad really upsetting.
the japanese are trying to forget it by not putting it in books while the chinese will not let that happen.
It was just really sad watching it, how people could kill so many innocent people in such a cruel way and for such a selfish reason. Japan is doing just fine with the amount of land they have right now.
I do not hate the japanese since most of the soldiers are very old now or dead and they(as a country and an individual) have changed I hope. But what upsets me is what they did decades ago.

as for the koreans; probably because of the war.
but since i am not korean, and i only have a few korean friends
i have basically no clue.

Japan and Korea are both highly admirable nations
**Me being Japanese Fyi**
Due to reasons of rivalrly through centuries of war and resentment, it's a shame that the newer generations harbor such hatred.
Can we not all just be friends and forget our troubled pasts??
Well One thing we both have in common is that we're both asked this question a lot: "What part of China are you from?"
**Gah I hate hearing this lol**

Zhong Zhi Cheng
I thought it was Chinese hated Japanese. My dad says its history how Japanese soldiers killed many Chinese.

too lazy to read through all the replies, but yeah my dad has/ had something against the japanese as well. I can only think of two events that make the Chinese people hate Japanese. 1 was the Manchurian invasion, the UN or what ever the Organization was was eurocentric at the time so they didn't give a s**t. The 2nd one is the Nanjing massacre that one i don't know much about since i never learned it in my history classes.

July 16th, 2007 - January 27, 2008. Of course this gap between posts is well over two months, which the longest we can allow before any thread is considered a revived topic.

Don't let it happen again.
