My parents aren't into ska but they do have decent taste in music they took me to my first ozfest so many years ago. and every once in a while they will show up at reggae night(a resort down the road from my house has a live band play reggea and ska every wednesday all summer long)

Yeah, The Specials still play every-now-and-then.
My mom likes reggae and jazz.
My dad likes Soul and Motown.
So I've heard it all really.

My dad has cool taste in music, he liked all the good stuff. Lucky! I love the Specials, one of my top 3 ska bands definitly.

yeah in a way the specials still play but if I remember this correctly, the only original members are Neville and Lynwald...I think it's only Neville now... and could also go under the name "Neville Stapels Specials" but as I said it ain't the original Specials. (They also released a cd in '98 called guilty till proved innocent it's a good album)
sadly I don't have any ska loving parents!
