I'm 5"6 and I weigh 150..but I take size 12-14 jeans...

Does anyone else know if those are normal sizes for 150 pounders?

Weird.
I'm 170 and I take a 10-12.
Then again, pant sizes are messed up.
Say, in one store I could be a 10, but in another I could be a 14 or bigger.
I even found a size 6 in Walmart once that almost would have fit me, and I am DEFINATELY not a 6.

Jeans sizes make no sense... my GF is like 90lbs and wears a 0-5 depending on brand. I'm 135 and wear a 6-12. There is no way in hell I should be one size bigger then her. Plus, no brands have the same size. It drives me crazy.

Jean sizes are really messed up. I'm shorter and way heavier than you (5'4" and 195 pounds) and I wear a 16, almost always.

I wouldn't focus too much on the pant sizes. They're just numbers, and they're meaningless. When you look good, it doesn't matter what size your pants are.

It deffinately depends on the store/brand/designer.

That sounds about right to me. I'm about 146 (just under 150), and typically wear size 11-14. But then again, I'm only 5'4.

it does varry alot.
for the record. I'm 5'2' and roughly 120.
(im here to help people and to maintain myself~! xD;; I do wanna loose a few more pounds but I'm basically healthy)

I recently bought new jeans, to celebrate the last phase of my wheight loss.

I bought a pair of Arizona Jn. Co. Boycuts, a size seven (and the smallest size they had at the time, they were on clearence) And they preactically fall off, I HAVE to wear a belt.

The same day I bought a pair of Zana Di's and those were size 13. and they're kinda tight O_O

I range from as small as a 7, though that's a hella tight fit, to as big as a 13. It's frustrating for me, and all women i bet.

I think the companies need to just start making womens jeans based on hip or waist depending on the cut and inseam measurements, that way we can more easily find jeans that fit properly.

that's how they do it in the mens jeans D:
