Hmkay, so I've been debating on starting an art shop or not, but I'm not exactly sure what goes INTO an art shop. I know that there should be samples, rules, prices, and how to order. So, if you can help me out with that, please do.

That is not the only problem, I don't know how I should price my art.

Here are some samples:

Since I color on the basic paint program.. thing.. >_> Should I make it cost more..?

I'd say 500g at the MOST, in my experience. .-.
If you price it less than 500g, you might have more offers. And more offers
means more gold, na? ;D

As far as what goes INTO an art shop, first spend some time thinking
REALLY hard about it. Because making an art shop is a fairly big commitment.
So spend a lot of time really thinking about if you want to do it or not.


If you've decided that you want to do it, mull over how long it takes you
to do each drawing. That'll help you decide how many slots to have open
in your art shop. =o If it takes long, have only a few. If it goes quickly,
you can have many open slots for requests.

After you've decided that, then think about what kind of shop theme you want.
Like, you'll go to art shops or mini shops and they'll be really nice with images etc.
If you can't do images, that's fine. But nice colored text always draws attention.
So decide on your theme, and the name of your shop.

Then go to the minishops and find a very respectable art shop.
Look at every post in the shop that the shop owner made. It'll help you
get a feel for what to post first, and where you want stuff to go.

When you're making your shop, in the title put "COMING SOON - DO NOT POST!!"
or something to that affect. =o Different shop owners have told me that
that really keeps people away, and no one posts. :3

I guess that's all the info I have. XD I've been debating an art shop as well.
I've been too busy, so I've been holding it off for a while.
