One query about the 1-2-3... what is the time frame on this?
I'm not asking for total forgiveness every week, but depending on how long things run, this could get sorta ruinous.
I understand the desire for a clearly defined stick to prevent arbitrary punishment, as much as I am conceptually opposed to punishment based social systems. sweatdrop

I tend to think that discounting things when they're about a year old is reasonable. 3nodding

How about three strikes within the space of 12 months and you are subject to banning? But say at least "X" number of mods must be in agreement that you need banning or something...

I have a question. Has anyone actually ever been banned?

I know I'm relatively new to the guild, but I have yet to see anyone commit any major offenses that would result in such an action.

IIRC, anying "bannings" have been at the request of the person -- not wanting to come back, I suppose.

Yeah, its like going hiking without any provisions. Better to have that water and nuts than to get lost and be screwed.

Also, as a side effect of some bizarre quirk of modern culture, some people have fits whenever they are summarily punished by figures holding authority over them without a set stricture by which it is to be done being created. rolleyes
