From his time period, he may of done drugs, making him do that stuff.

My dad calls him a 'nutball'.

Maybe he was just severly convinced his doings were right? Blair Emily did the same.

I believe Sims 2 stories way too much. sweatdrop

I personaly think he was a brillent man...I mean come on Helter Skelter
The day when the man and blakie will have an all out war and himself and his "Family" I use family loosely,(a group of hippies with no where else to turn)..I have seen and I do own the movie Helter Skelter. He was a really down to earth person his ideas were there just went about it all the wrong way.

i honestly don't think that manson is crazy. you're gonna hate me for saying this, by the way.
i mean, how many of us have tried or known someone who has tried to get a bunch of people to do what they want? i mean, that stuff is called peer pressure (according to my teachers who don't really know anything)
if you think about it, what manson did isn't really original if you look at it as a whole. hitler didn't kill the masses of jews and others in the holocaust himself, he commanded his nazis to do it. the nazis and his followers beleived in his cause, and willingly did his bidding.
same with osama bin laden and his alqueida or taliban or whatever terrorist group he controls.
the people under manson did the same thing. and really, i don't think that he did anything AMAZING.

I think he was like hitler: a genious with a disturbing menale. Personaly, i think if he hadn't tried to cause so much havok, he could have made a good leader.

I Tend to have strange opinions on people, take Charles Manson for example, I respect him for the brilliance he had. If you look at Manson as a person you can see that he was much deeper than the average criminal. *points to quote in siggy* You may or may not belive the convictions he was charged of, I personally am partial. I just want to know you're thoughts on the matter, the case, or anything related.

Eh. I think it had more to do with him being charasmatic and all those other people being impressionable and stupid.

I have no respect for sociopaths.

I supposedly have sociopathic tendencies, but you don't see me ordering people to kill others.

Manson was stupid. He was manipulative, yes, but if he could manipulate others to kill, he could have also done things that would have been more beneficial to him than detrimental. The stupidest assumption of all criminals is that they will not be caught. In assuming you will not be caught, you will be, because you have let your pride overcome your rationality.

Instead, Manson wanted to cause racial war. Anyone who wants to CAUSE a war... well, that alone gives me cause to call him an idiot.

He's not brilliant in the least.
