Science Project

My grade is droppping in science and I need to do an extra credit project. I don't have any ideas and I need help. I don't want to do something like a volcano or testing to see if an egg can float in water. I want something slightly different. So can someone give me an idea?

Yeah, a solar cooker. You use the sunlight to heat the hell out stuff. Quite fun! We just had a project like that. Mine got over 140 degrees F. 3nodding

Diffusion is when water goes through low concentration to high concentration (or it's the other way around... sweatdrop I don't remeber since I did it last year) to become balanced...
Supplies:
-egg
-molasses
-water
-white vinegar
-three bowls
Procedure:
-put egg in a bowl of white vinegar and let it sit there until the shell is dissolved
-rinse it with water and put it in the bowl of water for a day and watch it grow big
-then put it in the bowl w/ molasses for a day and watch it shrink
-rinse it w/ water and then repeat the water and molasses for about two more days
It's kinda boring though... sweatdrop
If you do this experiment and have questions you could always ask! biggrin

Wow. How long does it take for the egg to diffusion?
I think it might be easier to make an egg diffusion than to make a solar cooker. xd

About a week if I remeber...
3 days of egg shell disolving
1 day of molasses
1 day of water
1 day of molasses
1 day of water
Yep! 1 week!

Why not test a matter's strength on how it holds up to a different matter, but a bigger portion? or experiment with what matters make up compounds.
