This post is about yaoi's fanfiction.
A lot of things bother the hell out of me with fanfiction.. well in general. {not JUST yaoi..but it's MOSTLY yaoi that I read..} For example: when ppl choose to put certain characters together in different anime when they don't already have the couples chosen for the anime to run the way it's supposed to {via - Chobits: Hideki x Chi, Level C: Kazuomi x Mizuki, and FAKE: Dee x Ryo}.
Those charaters are SUPPOSED to be together...
BuuuuuT..
When it comes to other anime when the characters seem to find none of the other characters acttractive, it's up to the author's mind to pick out the couples that they find hot together...
What I'm upset about is...when I find characters together with other characters that just... don't look like they should EVER be together {via - FullMetal Alchemist: Envy x Edward[ew, Ew EWWW!!], Inuyasha: Sesshomaru x Kagome [ scream !], and Yu-Gi-Oh: Seto x Yami [WTF!! HOW COULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER THEM A COUPLE!?!?!]}
So yeah.. I'm not even sure why exactly I'm even posting this.. I'm just getting some stress from it out by telling you readers.. sweatdrop
I'm just saying that..well.. I'm upset that not everyone has the same ideas and don't think the way I do... I guess I'm just selfish..WOW{ redface xd }.

What I hate even more is when they make them soooo OOC. ><

The only thing I REALLY hate is when characters are SO OOC, that you can't even tell it's actually that character.

i dont like it in a fanic that has the two charcters that are awesome together, like axelXroxas and they make one hate the other or one is dating another person and the person they're supposed to be with is jealous and gets mad....also like in a fic i read roxas was supposed to be blind.....

I agree with you in some cases, but with characters like Roxas, you could pair him up with Sora as well as Axel so if you pair up Sora and Roxas obviously Axel will be jelouse.

Slash is an opinion based on the slasher's interpretation of the characters behavior towards one another.
Also if slashers were respectful of canon pairings, there would be no *slash*.

I hate it when the chracters are oc!!! grrr.....
I hate mary-sue and gary-stues...
I hate it when suddenly a character becomes super powerful without having to do something...
...maybe I should stop now...I hate a lot of things... sweatdrop

i don't mind slash pairings... i don't usually read them, i jsut skip over them. it doesn't bother me except when its a crossover with another anime (popular example: kuramaxkagome. I DON'T GET IT!)
i hate it when ppl type japanese in their story as normal dialogue. it's not "demo", it's "but". it's not "onegai", it's "please". it's not "iie", it's "no". that drives me up the wall, and i've refused to read stories anymore where ppl do that.
and most of all, i hate it when authors can't take criticism. they ask for a review, i tell them something like "that was a good story, but ed doesn't cuss like that. he never has." and then they respond with "******** YOU!"

But if you think of another way, the world they are in it's in alternative universe. Maybe that universe is a lot different than the supposed original universe and that particular character's personality is a lot more different from the original universe's one. Then it's okay for that particular character to act out of character. Even though, the universe of a world supposed to be quite similar at least in parallel worlds. Maybe the more far apart the parallel world or dimensional world it is there's more difference. In canon, the original writer wrote only a side of the character that we read in the story who knows if there's any other side of the character that didn't exactly get to be explored. The character could have a totally different side that was shown in the canon storyline it doesn't mean the character can't have more than one behavior. But not everyone will be in that category. I guess some writer want to see a pairing in action even to the point of making them acting totally different than we were used to see. Even though, I really don't like the ocness but some writer actually wrote a pretty good story of that particular pairing with ocness.

I hate it when there's a couple, and then
the author throws in a OC that tries to go
for one of the two boys in order to try to
break them up. D: Sometimes it's okay when
it's a character from the actual anime/game.
I also dislike it when the fanfiction is about a
boyxboy couple, but then they give one of them
a girlfriend before they get together. I mean,
it's yaoi fanfiction, not het! gonk
