Blood+ -- the bloodiest anime I've seen.

It's not really violent. But the first scene in the episode is a girl swaying her sword wildly, killing people around her. Blood sprouting out of their bodies, eww...

But the story's great. I actually like it.

sweatdrop although its not an anime its still animated so the most violent and funniest show I would say is korgoth its a shame they only had one or 2 episodes sad

I have not watched a lot of these that are hard to find, but Berserk and Claymore are far gorier than Elfen Lied and Blood+. The last few episodes of Berserk are very, very disturbing. Elfen Lied is bloody, but the amount of blood tapers off a lot, where Berserk is like a broken dam in a river of blood.
