I am trying to remember a song. Has Cpt Picard mentioned in

I am trying to remember the name and band who performed a song with a quote that goes "gave my id card to the border guar says allias is Jean'Luk Picard of the United Federation of planets" thats the only part of the song that I can remember. it was realesed early to mid 90's. If anyone can remember the name of the song or who sings it please let me now.

Was it a mainstream group/artist or could it have come from any number of Star Trek Cover bands that are out there?

I would guess that its a mainstream band. I saw videos for it on VH1 and MTV. It was a one hit wonder. I just cannot remember anything about it except that one line.
