Meera Flame The first times I heard The Sharpest Lives, I thought Gerard was just singing something like, "Ohralabam" (like lalala, no real word), when he actually sings, "I've really been."
Embarrassing! 'cause i love all the poison away with the boys in the band You're not from Jersey, are you?
*sigh*
'Tis but the way we talk. And sing. But dude -- "blood" and "blame" don't sound alike. Gerard, stop pretending your from Australia and sing, dammit.
So, yeah, that's me blaming my misheard lyrics on the fact that Gerard pronounces "blood" like "blame" in Desert Song... "And did you come to wash away the blood?" Although, it kinda does make sense both ways. Meh.
I'm sure there've been others. I can't go through a CD without at least one misheard line. Most of the time, nothing registers at all, it's just a jumble of syllables, which is usually due to the fact that whoever wrote the musc put the emphasis on the wrong syllable, so it makes words sound funny.
However, I do take pride in the fact that I know all the words to the whisper stuff at the end of Vampires. 3nodding

When I first heard Dead! the thought at the lalala part he was saying something about St. Jimmy. I'm like "wow, some Green Day fans..." But then I realized what it really was.

I'm actually laughing my head off. razz I'm still perverted though, so I guess that didn't help.
