Harbone and the Meat Puppets, who, even though they reference a body part do rely on the fact that the very body part is referenced by a type of food - that is, to whit, beatable meat is, as it were, the foodstuff known as meat. rofl rofl well they're added anyway lol

Fish - the lead singer from 80's progressive rock band Marillion (my secret obsession at the time... ah, angst ridden teens... those were the days confused ), who went on to a solo career.

That reminds me of Phish, jam band like Grateful Dead and STI (see Harbones list.) Though I'm not sure it counts cuz of the spelling.

You're forgetting the strawberry alarm clock and in some parts of this country, The Turtles. There's also Bread and Hot Tuna, Wild Cherry (play dat funky music white boy) Tom T-Bone Stankus, Taco (The Ritz), The Partridge Family, The Monkees (well they do eat them in some locales) "Mac" Davis, Hot Chocolate, Hot Butter (Popcorn - remember that one? then you are old!), Honey Drippers, Chuck "Berry", Blue "oyster" cult, and The Bare Naked Ladies (although I'm afraid that's just a bad sexual reference).
