Well, since I didn't see a thread for this I figured why not make one.
After riding in the car with my grandparents, I have found I can not get some of the music they played out of my head. And I mean that in a good way.
While I don't go out of my way to listen to the music I generaly like it when I do hear it.
Is there anyone else here who enjoys music from the 1950-60's? Favorite songs? Bands?

I like the Rolling Stones, the Animals, and Jimi Hendrix. I also like some of the hard rock that began in the late 60s, such as Steppenwolf. I guess they're not exactly "oldies", but they're from the 60s.

They fall into the intended time period. I do like Jimi Hendrix.
The Beetles are plain awesomeness as far as I'm concerned.
