Well, I'm 19 now, but when I first found out about yaoi, I was only thirteen. Before the "discovery", I was very much into reading fanfics, mostly the InuYasha genre because that was really the only anime I knew at the time (//shot). And even at that young age I was completely into the whole "hentai" stuff, reading m-rated fanfics and being very happy about that. One day, looking for an InuYasha/Kagome fic, I started to read one and, to my disgust, found I was reading about Koga and InuYasha screwing each other and I got so sick I had to close the fic.

The next day and for several after that, I was really bothered by it and I frequently went back to the fic out of morbid curiosity. I still felt sick but it was my first interaction with hardcore yaoi porn and I was just so curious as to how the whole "gay sex" thing worked.

Needless to say, I began to enjoy it and now I almost exclusively read yaoi. rolleyes I've been a hardcore fan of yaoi for years now and I really don't see that changing. In any case, I was thirteen when I first found yaoi and after an initial disgusted feeling, I soon came to enjoy it, perhaps a little too much. ^^
