Okay : ) So.
This is my beginning of a new lifestyle that I'm going to use to try and slim down before march, and most importantly, my june Grad-Prom.



Current Stats
Weight: 165lbs
Height: 5'8
Pant Size: 11
Shirt Size: M / L
Goal: 150 by Dec '06 / 130 by March '07


A Little About me
I'm 17 years old, and I live in Canada (One of the fattest places in the world) Two years ago I weighed 123 pounds, and never had any weight issues. I could eat what I wanted, without a problem. In December of 2004 I was hospitalized for pneumonia and prescribed prednisone which helped to aide in my weight gain, and I just went downhill ever since. So I'm going to try a little harder and see if I can get the weight back off. <3

The Plan:
First off, I'm going to slowly adjust my diet. So far I've excluded fast food, pizza, cake, and still painfully trying to wean away from ice cream. whee
I'm also going to visit my physician within the next week or two to help come up with an approach, and to make sure there are no health issues contributing to my weight.
I've got 20 sessions for the fitness centres at my local YMCA, which I'm going to try and force myself to use, and If I like that gym, I'll buy a membership.
I also need to sort out some personal issues, which can lead to my binge eating. When I'm around certain people, or have a bad day, I'll definitely eat more and be more inclined to eating bad foods. I also plan on drinking much more water and walking more places.
Sadly, I do have some history of abusing drugs and smoking to try and curb my appetite. I'm going to try and find better means to change my bad eating habits. (I don't need a lecture, I know it's a bad Idea <3)
No Diets. Just changing my Lifestyle <3

THE BADNESS:
- I'm -lazy-
- I almost never do what I say I'm going to do.
- I always make excuses for my Weight, but I'm totally accepting now of why I'm chubby, and that I need to do something now before it gets out of hand.
- I'm a -binge- eater
- I LOVE Food - I've been anorexic in the past, and at times, I still wish to be anorexic again.
- I've been bulemic, But am totally over it, and will never go back to it.
- I smoke marijuana, and get the munchies.. hardcore.
- I've used ecstasy to increase my energy level and to decrease my appetite. ( I still use on Occassion)
- I smoke like a Chimney when I'm out, so I won't be as tempted to eat.
- I've failed every diet I've ever tried
- I have no self-esteem


THE GOODNESS:
+ I do better when I have encouragement
+ I'm a happy person, I don't base my whole life on weight issues.
+ I'm grateful that I don't have a severe weight problem
+ I've bought a Hula Hoop! For my Gut-chub
+ I also bought 20 sessions for the YMCA's gym
+ I got a new high-energy job, working 20 hours a week.
+ I Stopped Eating Fast-Food. (Except breakfast.. rarely) When given the opportunity to eat a burger and fries, I Opt for Subway, or a non-dairy fruit smoothie.
+ I no longer drink Fruit Juice, Or Soda.
+ I just bought lots of new clothes to try and boost my self-esteem x3

Exercise Plan:

+ Gym 2 times a week (min)
+ Walking much more often, to the store, etc.
+ Pilates / Hula - hoop on nights that I'm pressed for time.

At the Gym, I Plan on doing Cardio, and weight training for 1-2 hours per visit. I'll try and burn off at least 500 cal/visit. I Really need some encouragement, however D:

Diet Plan

+ Liquids:
~ Water, Milk, Low Cal pure Apple/Orange Juice, Tea with sweetener,

+ Meals
~ Water-Based Soups, Whole Grains, Poultry, Fish, Low-Fat Pasta, Rice, Veggies, Fruits, Lean Sandwich Meats, (Will add more when I think of them)

+ Snacks
~ Granola, Puffed Rice, Snackwells <3, Calorie-wise snacks & Stuff.

I've got all of this stuff in my house.. so Hopefully it won't be hard to avoid all of the Junk-food that my mother hoardes gonk

Today:
Breakfast:
Bacon & Egger from A&W gonk Tea

Lunch:
1 Serving (90cal) Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup, 4 crackers (100cal)
Dinner:
1 Serving Spaghetti, And Tomato Sauce.

Water:
Two 750ml Bottles

Junk:
2 half-moon Pastries gonk gonk gonk


Weight: 163lbs

bagel w/ light cream cheese, skim milk

Lunch:
Peanut Butter Sandwich, Skim milk

Dinner:
1 Scrambled egg w/ green pepper, Milk.

Water:
1 750ml Bottle

Junk:
hot chocolate


Weight: 163lbs


Not off to a good start.. D:
