The misfits old stuff was good. Then Danzig left but it was still good because of Doyle. Then when he left the band went downhill. Doyle is coming out with his own band though (produced by glenn) gorgeous frankenstein.
I recently saw The Misfits live on the Fiend Fest Tour '06, in Baltimore (last show, it was ******** amazing) and I'm happy to say that the newest singer isn't bad at all.
Granted, the band just isn't the same without Danzig, but the new guy, Jerry Only, is so much better than Michael Graves was. Only actually sounds like Danzig. They opened with Halloween, and it was just awesome. Just like the old Misfits.
I got my nose broken in the pits. It was awesome. There were mosh pits up by the guard rails, then right behind it, were some mad skank pits. I kept jumping back and forth lol. It ruled SO ******** hard!
