So everyone in my family could lose weight, except my brother, especially my dad. We've deicded that in August when my brother goes to college we're going to go on a family diet, I hope. I was just wondering, what do you think would be a good way for us to lose weight, my dad and I like to snack on chips and such so how can we get tasty food but healthy food too.

I've had amazing success with Weight Watchers, which became a lot easier once my roommate joined me in it. When a whole family commits to the same eating plan and exercising plan, it gets a lot easier, because the house is filled with healthy things.
Instead of sitting in front of the TV and snacking, maybe you could go on a bike ride.
