The first thing I would like to say is this series is a part of a serial anthology. Most of the other series run parallel to each other but this one is more of a tangent that occurs after everything else in the other series. The other series is mostly just fantasy with not a lot of romance of any kind in general - although that may change since all of this is considered to be incomplete and in beta status. Since the other series aren't of the yaoi genre I don't plan to post them here. However, if you are interested in reading anything I have feel free to CLICK HERE.
The entire anthology is based upon a Tarot theme and thus the reason each episode/chapter is called a card. Each series is based on an overall Tarot theme - either a single card or a mix of cards. This series in particular is running on the Two of Cups (unlike the Lovers card this card is more than just romance and lust but also about the bonds created by such) overall. Each episode also has its card theme(s). If you don't understand Tarot or its themes, please feel free to discuss them here.
IMPORTANTIf you decide to critique any or all of the episodes posted here it is important to remember that these are beta drafts. Grammer is not my focus here at this point in time unless the grammer is so bad as to make the piece incapable of being understood, I don't care. The point of beta reading is to focus on the plot, character development and overall story itself. There is no point in wasting time and energy on grammer when it is expected that the piece will be completly rewritten and will thus need to be proofread again for such. Comments on grammer will be reviewed and followed up on to some extent but for the most part it will be ignored.
What I am interested in hearing from readers is whether or not the characters and plot are believable. I want to know if this is something you are interested in seeing finished. If your answers are no, I want to hear details on why. I want to know what isn't working and where. I am very new to this genre so any input from regular readers would be greatly valued. Any and all questions are very much welcomed and discussion on this work is greaty encouraged.
