Ladgeful - Embarrising (also ladged - embarrised)
Garn - Going
Yam - Home
Yan - one
gannet - greedy bugger
Cannay - Can't
Keks - trousers
kip - sleep
aye - yes
Nay - no
babbee - baby
wee - small
l'arl - small


Hmm, I am sure there's more we use.

OK, I have one I learned today. In Wales, skipping school is called 'mitching', but in Scotland (or at least thew Glasgow-ish part I come from) it's called 'dogging'.

Any further observations?

Dogging, Tee he he.

We call it skiving, although I don't know if that is an english word we picked up.

Bunking off. I've never heard it called anything else-- except skiving, sometimes.
