it's because with yaoi manga we girls can see what goes on in the bedroom of gay relationships real gay guys won't let you do that. ...at least mine won't. i think he's shy...except for one but we won't get into that.

The Yaoi genre was created for and directed toward girls. The Japanese viewed it as something girls would like. Besides, most yaoi manga-ka are women, anyway. Boys just happened to like it too, on occasion.
So the real question is, why are the boys here? O.o

The vast majority of Yaoi (And Slash and homoerotic fanfiction) is made BY women FOR women.

Probably someone already said it, but I´ll say it anyway. Originally yaoi was created for women! It´s logical. If men think that two women kissing is hot why shouldn´t girls like to see two men kissing? If you do some research you´ll see that what I´m saying is true.
