I hope that Doctor Who under Steven Moffat is good. I want it to be good -- or less racially/sexually problematic. Either one. I would like to be able to watch again.

Doctor Who is amazing, and Torchwood is a pretty decent spin off well. It was brilliant in the first series but I think it's gone done hill since. :/

I love David Tennant but also Tom Baker, so it was a hard decision lol

Matt Smith: best Doctor ever: Y/Y?

I vote Y. I wasn't expecting him to be a capable actor and yet he is. I'm the biggest fan of Doctor Who right now and I only half-care who knows.

Matt Smith is a more-than-worthy new Doctor. But how will he handle being srs-face?

I still think David Tennant is the best but I do like Matt Smith, I think it's a bit too soon to be calling him "better" than Tennant as I liked the way Tennant did the swing between total arrogance and crippling lonliness, while Smith is better at going from being very funny to quite emotional.

I also prefer Steven Moffat in charge, I am firmly convinced that his one and only agenda is to have a new generation of children hiding behind the sofa.

It is indeed. Matt Smith himself doesn't show up until the very end of the episode, but I enjoyed the interaction between Jo and Sarah Jane.

I enjoy Moffat's series of Doctor Who, its not as full as innuendo as Russell T Davies previous series; which I don't mind as I have Torchwood for that.
Moffat's ability to scare audiences with inventive storytelling, complex plot and creative monsters is a boost to the series also.
