Bass is the most awsome instrament in the world. Without bass there would be no proper rythm and therefore no music. crying And if you're like me you can't live without it heart (obviously cause then you wouldn't be in the guild now would you?) Iv been playing for i think 3 monthes now. ik alot of scales obviously not ALL of them cause theres like 32897439857 of them. I can read tabs very easy I have no problems, except when it comes to reading actual sheet music. Which I kinda need for school.
(p.s if anyone can help me with reading sheet music could you PM me?that would be awsome. thnx.)

Cloud Strife fff7 I play the bass and D*mn i like it smile I taught my self basic (get it? BASSic? harhar.) stand up bass, it is awesome isn't it biggrin . i have a bass gutiar too, but eleitrcal instruments dont like me much stressed . but im a cellist mainly! so same clef. xp

I am an upright player who plays German bow. I play Classical, Jazz and some other things. I love my bass, I use to play violin and harp but there really isn't anything like the bass. Who are some of your fav bass players? heart

I play bass AND stand up bass. Self-taught at both, so I'm not that great. The bass I play it in a hard rock band, the double-bass in my college's musical group - mostly traditional portuguese music.
And the big one (lol) is way cooler! heart heart

bass is the greatest instrument.im not sure wich is better double bass or electric bass.i play both.they are both awesome.i like playing funk and metal becase i like slapping very quickly and popping is fun too.i also like playing classical music on the double bass.i kinda have to for school.

bass is cool, i've played bass for about 2 years now and have gone through about ten million genres. i don't play upright but that's because
a) i dont have one available and
b) i effing love the feel of my electric bass.
i'm all for metal/hard rock, hip hop and funk. i love bass but i also play classical/flamenco and electric guitar. i mainly play bass because i'm better at it then guitar and it's a kind of untouched instrument with ton of possibilitis left so i have more fun tinkering with my bass.

Bass is something that you dont notice, but if it wasnt there you'd miss it.
Bella Fleck and the Flecktones make bass an art.
I play bass, and can go between acoustic, stand up and electric.
I prefer finger picking on stand ups.
check vicotor wooten, he's one of those guys you just know cant go two hours without playing.
bass is all about dedication my friends. Easy to be good. harder to read and understand the clef/music, hardest to PWN.
