If you forgive me from not being OT... MTG (Magic: The Gathering) is better than Yu-Gi-Oh. It's an incredibly sophisticated and complex game that can be played to almost infinite depth. Until recently I was in it in a big way, until I ventually realised that: a) I'm not terribly good at it; and b) It's incredibly expensive to seriously play constructed (even T2). I know a fair bit, though, and could spout on for quite a while about how broken the 'clamp was, and how it completely locked down the old T2 and the MrBC metagame, by every teir 1 deck being either Raffinity (supporting it), or Artifact-hate, thinking up ways to deal with it. I've also had thoughts about whether it was quite as broken as the legendary early T2 cards, and even some of the Power Nine. It certainly, coupled with the old Affinity-orientated metagame, had the potential to give even more efficient card advantage than Ancestral Recall. I experiemented with proxy overextended Affinity decks, featuring the 'clamp, and also many of the power nine, including the Lotus and two of the moxes, Time Walk and Ancestral Recall. I used Metalworker as a mana engine, potential allowing me to draw my entire deck with the 'clamp. I could draw until I got a Disciple of the Vault, and then continue to draw, getting instant damage through with the Disciple's triggered ability.
If you could understand that, you deserve a small medal.
