Not 'serious' politics, but highly amusing. Prescott was among the first to be snide about other MPs and their shenanigans, and now look! Sleeping with his secretary at the office Christmas party, perhaps even entertaining her at the taxpayer's expense.

Actually, he's quite fortunate that there were other scandals. Now nobody can point the finger, but just nod and look serious and call it a private matter.

Cruel yet entertaining.

Speaking as an ecologist, a subject of the crown, and a firm believer that there is no good reason for declining moral standards; I hate the fat b*****d and hope his wife murders him and is consequently banged up for life (You can make your own jokes about her not getting enough bangings lately).

If a politician is good at their job, they can have as many mistresses as they want. Drunken parties too. Maybe drugs if they're not caught. Y'know, a good fun life.

Just, not at the taxpayers' expense.

Predicting a particularly sleazy Cameron government? XD

I certainly wasn't expecting Prescott to be demoted in the reshuffle. Interesting, that.

I almost feel sorry for Eyebrow Man (that's Jack Straw).

It seems that Blair is trying to draw a sort of inner guard of Blairites around him... not only interesting, but rather worrying. confused

He always did, but the old lot went sour, so he's got some new ones.

True, true! Blair has always surrounded himself with his friends in the Cabinet. How else would he have been able to go to war?
