I don't think that's what the greeting refers to. It is a generic greeting like "Shalom", "Aloha", "Salaam", or "ciao", all of which can mean "greetings", "farewell", or "peace be with you".
To wish someone long life, happiness, and prosperity is a very kindly wish for a person's well-being.
