Name:
P'hyr (from Phyrionant)
Age:
29
Nameday:
3547.05.12

Sex:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Homosexual

Weyr:
Western Weyr
Rider Rank:
Wingrider
Previous Rank/Craft:
Healercraft Journeyman - Trauma healer

Physical Description:
P'hyr is small, for a male rider. Standing at only 5'4" with a figure that looks more lithe than it actually is, his willowy look hides a great strength. He has to have it, to control his Blue. His dark hair is kept long, wavy and a blue-black tone. His eyes are a bright jade tone that offsets his darker bronze-toned skin. He has very few scars yet, as a younger Rider, and his hands are constantly smoother than you'd think. P'hyr tends towards wearing darker blues, PROUD of his impression.

Personality:
P'hyr has always liked things in strict structure. Even long before his Impression, raised in Healer Hall, he liked having things just so. Structure, to his mind, creates discipline, which is necessary for every aspect of life. He lives and dies by schedules, and is rather stringent about making sure things are the way they need to be. Security, lack of Chaos, all of it, he needs it to thrive. He tends to, in his need for order, look at other people in his own terms. Are they more chaotic? Do they meet his standards? The answer is usually no, and so he tends to be a bit more stand-offish towards them. His high expectations for his own state means that he will always judge those around him, whether it's fair or not.

He has a need to exemplify the things he wants to see around him, and one of those qualities that the Hall imparted on to him was a patience with those that need him, or guidance. He tends to, though judging, be very lenient with the behaviors he doesn't like, trying to gently guide. It means he's level and calm, generally with a bit of a softer tone and pleasant bedside manner. Wouldn't do to be a Trauma Healer if you were impatient and cruel! However, despite his willingness to be patient? He is always stubborn. Things he doesn't like WILL change, and he has the means to wait it out. What he believes, what he knows, is right, and he will stick by that to the end. Sometimes that stubbornness leads to a sense of resentment when things don't go his way, but he does his best to keep his mouth shut about it.

P'hyr will do his best to always speak his mind. He prizes above all things honesty, and asks that anyone around him be direct, because he will always be direct with them. His thoughts, his words, his deeds, there's never a moment's deception from the Bluerider. He has no need for it. However, emotional things? Especially intimate ones? Make very little sense to him. He's never been great with handling other people's emotions either, finding it awkward to interact with them.

Positive Trait List
Ordered, Patient, Honest
Negative Trait List
Judgemental, Stubborn, Difficulty with emotion

History:
Born to a Mindhealer and his wife, Phyrionant was the eldest of three children. His father, a Craftmaster, was often called this way and that, leaving Phyr to help his mother and make sure things were done. Even from the young age of 6, he did his best to make sure his younger brother had whatever he needed to make his mother's life easier. When he was only 8, he was chosen to apprentice in Healer Hall, and taken under the wing of a Trauma healer, who recognized his steady nature and hands.

Phyrionant took to the craft like a dolphin does to the waves of the ocean. It was organized, required cleanliness and patience. He worked hard, studying intensely, and devoting his life to his work under the Healer's care. It wasn't until his journeyman status that he first made his way to Western Weyr to help out. He and the man he had apprenticed under were there to help the people, and Phyr found himself enamored with the order of the weyr. It might not be as clean as the Hall, but it was still incredibly ordered and well kept!

His devotion to the weyr and his craft was deep, and he went about his daily business, helping out at hatchings and such...so when at last he found himself hearing a strange voice in his head. A voice that came with a powerful feeling that rocked him to his core. This was how Phyrionant became P'hyr and blue Carchath chose his Rider, Get out of that hovel you're working in Mine, and come attend your Carchath.. 23 turns old and a Healer became a soldier of sorts. The pair of them were devoted at least. While Carchath was rough and tumble, and aggressive, P'hyr made sure to help keep His in line.

They made it through Weyrling training with no trouble, and ever since? They've been an incredibly devoted Wingrider pair.

Other: N/A

DRAGON
Name:
Carchath
Age:
6 Turns

Color:
Blue
Size:
65'
Physical Description:
Lean muscle and large for a Blue, Carchath might not be max size, but he certainly tries to look it. His wingspan makes up a good portion of his bulk, with a shorter tail, long neck, and stubby legs. His gray-blue body is broken up by a lighter blue underbelly, and large eyes always seem to exist in a warmer tone, usually in the reds or oranges. Since Threadfighting, he's got scars along his body and wings, and seems madly proud of every single one.r

Personality:
Watch out World, Carchath has been shelled. It is probably lucky this Blue was shelled at Western instead of another Weyr, because he thinks himself the king of the clutch, arrogance running through every fibre of his being. This bulky boy knows he;s all muscle, despite having a lithe figure, and will treat everyone around him like they're less than him. The only time he seems to have any sense of diplomacy is with a Queen. Emotion and poetry don't suit this blue. No, he prefers action over word, showing his strength in a heavy sense of devotion to his Weyr and Rider. Anyone he works under? Has to prove themselves to the Blue's mind before he really has any respect for them.

Ambitious to a fault, Carchath believes that his P'hyr belongs at the top of the world, and the Weyr. Even with his own arrogance and need for action instead of word, he is dedicated to making sure they are the best. That they are clearly superior to those around them. He wants to push His to the top...even if that isn't necessarily what the other wants.
