Physical Description: Melka isn’t quite as tall as her sister, barely short of 6’, but it still a tall, strong woman with broad shoulders and a curvy figure. She is, however, less muscular than her twin and instead on the somewhat chubbier side with her weight sitting more in her hips. She keeps her black hair long and often styles it fairly elegantly.
Personality: Time spent with Melka is never boring - She always has something fun on her mind to do and has no problem letting everybody else tag along with her, if they should want to. Whether it is drumming up some makeshift song to get dancing up and going, or spinning a delightful story of some made-up-for-fun rider of ages past for the fun of it, Melka is always up to a good time or a good challenge.
It’s not hard for her to make those around her think that they should also be up for as good of time, whether it is with a turn of a phrase, or a saucy tilt of her head and shake of her hips. She is a very charming creature and she doesn’t find it to be hard to surround herself with friends or admirers - and she does very much think she deserves them. After all, Melka knows she is a sight, a feast for sore eyes and she very much wants to be appreciated for it.
Fortunately, she has a store of deep patience when handling those around her (with a sister like Draza, how could she not?) and doesn’t mind dropping hints if she must to get the attention of a particular person or to obtain the things she wants. However, she’s very reluctant to make the first move on such things and for it can find such desires slipping through her fingers for her passive attitude - especially if it’s the interests of a particular person who someone else may choose to make a move on.
And oh, how dare they! For all her lack of moving in on things herself, Melka is absolutely viciously envious of people who have what she wants and is not above planning revenge in long, complicated processes for it - all the better to hopefully keep her hands and name clean of the results, if possible. It’s what they deserve, isn’t it, for stealing from her! But of course, she’s all too ready to hide that side of herself as best as she can - because appearances matter and she doesn’t want to look too wicked and scare anybody off if she has to sweep in and steal back what is hers, thank you very much.

History: Melka will always remind you that she was born first - that makes her better, after all. But as an older sister, she had the graciousness to let Draza lead the charge. However, it can’t really be argued it was a purposeful thing - where Draza was forceful and assertive, Melka was charming and passive and she was very, very adored for it by the prying eyes of both boys and girls their own age. If anything, Draza only emphasized how much better Melka was (which she adored, not to say it was the only reason she loved her twin) and made her life path all the more clear once they were old enough.
Where Draza would take on working with beasts, Melka would go off to the Courtesan hall determined to see what she could make of her (self-declared) obvious charms. She’d thrive, enjoying what lessons had to offer her and finding a particular affinity for dancing. At the age of 20, she’d walk the tables to become a Journeyman with a specialty in her dances and going off to better places than the hold she had grown in.
One particularly interested Dragonrider would introduce her to their Searchdragon and while he seemed hopeful to bring her back to his Weyr for his own interests, she would go for her own - how lucky for them!
Other: Draza and Melka are identical twins, though they are built slightly differently due to lifestyle changes from pursuing different crafts.
