Physical Description: Lorealane is a small girl, short with tiny bones, it looks like someone could snap her in two. She had long honey-blond hair and striking blue eyes.
Personality: Lorealane is very intelligent. Encyclopedic intelligence. At least academically. She can list off all the herbs, uses, and cures without batting an eye. But she is very naive socially. She is extremely innocent and believes the best in everyone. Naturally trusting, her upbringing did nothing to teach her that there were those that would take advantage of her.
With a deep well of energy and enthusiasm, Lorealane is bubbly and ever ready to engage with people. But she doesn’t really understand boundaries and is prone to asking impertinent questions and invading people’s space. Lorealane is clingy, emotionally, mentally, and physically. She will want to know everything that is going on in a friend’s life and be a part of it. She loves to hug, cuddle, and just touch people.

History: Born a weyrbrat at High Reaches Weyr, Lorealane had different aspirations than being a dragonrider. She loves dragons, but she didn’t see herself as a dragon rider and instead pursued the Healer craft. She grew up like any other brat, in the creche and well cared for. She was optimistic and enthusiastic about everything she tried. Though there were upsets and injuries, she never really let it get her down. Even when people took advantage of her trusting nature she would bounce back quickly. She had her share of friends growing up that watched out for her though.
When she was the right age, she went off to the Healer Hall and began her training. She was very good at the academic part of the studying. THe bedside manner was harder to come by. She trusted too much in the people to respond positively and struggled with belligerent patients.
Once she walked the tables at 21 though she returned to be a Journeyman at High Reaches Weyr. For as much as she wanted to be a healer, she could not leave the dragons behind for long.
Lorealane was happy and loved being able to interact with the dragons and riders again and see her home. Being a healer in a Weyr now that Thread was back was no joke and she worried every time the riders went out. Those were the worst times. Actually the worst times are when they come back injured. The best times were the Hatchings. She had always loved watching them, besides mailings anyway, and delighted in being able to watch again.
