-- just, in gray. see the img.Profile: Blythe presents himself as whimsical and carefree. He doesn't seem to take things seriously, and if he does its pretty hard to tell. Blythe does what he wants, and as far as he's concerned, everyone else is along for the ride. Objections from others seem to bear no real weight on his decisions, as he'll frequently ignore them in favor of continuing to doing whatever it is he's gotten his mind set on.
Blythe is mute by choice. He's very much capable of speaking but prefers to communicate through gesturing. At the very most, he'll make simple sounds as he gestures his meaning but rarely ever uses words. As far as he's concerned, it's not his problem if no one understands. They should be able to decipher his meaning through observation! He doesn't know or understand sign language, and doesn't care to learn it. The point isn't to be completely understood, anyway. Blythe is more open to speaking around his fellow Juggalos, as they are the only ones he deems worthy of hearing his voice.
Blythe is a follower of the Mirthful Messiahs, and shows his holy devotion through fun antics. Well, fun for him. He's a bit of a thief and has sticky fingers, particularly for things he thinks are interesting. Usually he "asks" for these items first, but if they aren't willingly given up he's known to just snatch them away. Most of the time, these objects are offered up as religious tributes - what happens to them depends on what his pumpbiscuit tells him to do. Sometimes they are destroyed, or discarded, and other times they are given to a less fortunate troll who looks like they could use a ********' pick up. Aside from confiscating sweet goods, he also plays pranks on unsuspecting trolls - some of these pranks are more like bullying than anything else but Blythe wouldn't call them that.
Aside from pranks and what some might call petty theft, Blythe does partake in activities more befitting of a circus. He's incredibly flexible, and often practices contorting himself into new positions. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't also for the shock value. Then again, he'd have to actually say something to lie.
Blythe is a purpleblood and it affords him a great deal of privilege. Despite this, he chooses to hide his color in a mixture of several others. There's an entire rainbow that he's part of, and seeing the confusion on others' faces when they can't easily pinpoint where he lies on the spectrum brings him a great amount of joy. A fair amount of trolls seem to assume that it's only the lowbloods that would hide their color, Blythe revels in the idea of how shocked they'd be upon learning his position. Besides, the Cult is open to all colors, Blythe thinks his use of most of the spectrum in his outfit is a show of solidarity with the family.
That being said, when surrounded by other Juggalos he is happy to display his perfect purple hue. He is proud to be of the same caste as the original founders, and would some day like to ascend to the position of Subjugglator. When the time comes, he will shed his gray disguise.
Outside of the Cult, Blythe doesn't truly grasp the stark differences between castes, and because of that doesn't fully respect the amount of safety his purple blood gives him. He lacks a lot of empathy with "normal" (read: not part of the Cult) lowbloods, thinking they just need to work harder, or if they'd just accept their place that their lives would be a lot easier. A circus has its roles, after all! The greater show that is the Alternian Way must go on, which means every color in it's place. That being said, he's a charitable sort and does often "re-gift" his tributes to lowbloods he thinks need a bit of a picker-upper.
Blythe is very attached to his lusus, Cham. Cham's ability to change colors to blend in with their surroundings originally inspired Blythe's desire to not be immediately identified by his own color. Over time it's developed into more of a feeling of solidarity with his other-colored siblings through the cult. He listens to Cham for the most part, but often times is too energetic for his lusus to keep up with him very well. When he can, he does carry Cham around so that his lusus isn't left in the dust, hoping he hasn't gotten himself hurt.
Strengths:
- Self-Confident
Blythe oozes confidence. He doesn't worry very much about what others may think of him or perceive him to be, and learning that he's being judged doesn't phase him very much at all. He knows who he is and what he wants to do and be, and that's all that really matters in the end isn't it?
Devout
Blythe is driven by his devotion to the Cult and its teachings. Even though he plays with the concept of anonymity, he has utmost respect for the family and would happily drop everything for them.
Whimsical
As any Juggalo should be. Blythe is prone to jokes and pranks and encourages others to be as well. He's got a great appreciation for a good laugh, and prides himself on being able to make others laugh.
Flaws:
- Obstinate
Blythe is very set in his ways and is incredibly hard to persuade. Once he's locked his mind on something, he often refuses to listen to anyone else on the matter. There are some exceptions here and there, but for the most part it's like arguing with a wall when trying to get Blythe to change his mind.
Tunnel Visioned
Blythe has a one track mind and has a hard time multi-tasking. He's not the most observant of trolls either when he's focused. He's prone to missing out on what's going on in the background of his life when he's locked on - leaving him vulnerable to being taken advantage of or attacked.
Wrathful
Some amount of wrath is expected from a Juggalo, but combined with his tendency to get locked in and lose sight of everything else, Blythe's wrath is a problem for him. He rarely forgets or forgives, and once he's deemed someone worthy of his wrath he's likely to seek them out and deliver it until he's satisfied.

Blythe's clothing is mostly loose fitting. White pants, purple shoes (his actual blood color), and a top that has a black main body and rainbow sleeves. His face paint is reminiscent of his symbol.
Home: Blythe's hive is in New Hemisect City. His hive is a disaster zone of random items - a good chunk of which weren't even his to begin with. The multi-story hive is jam packed with gadgets and junk- but there is a clear path through most sections of the hive. The ceilings have tree-like additions for Blythe's lusus to navigate the mess easier. There are a few rooms that Blythe actually keeps clean, these ones he uses to practice his acrobatics.
Lusus: Blythe's lusus is a chameleon about the size of a cocker spaniel. Bylthe refers to them as Cham and is very attached to them. Cham's ability to change colors is what originally inspired Blythe to disguise his own, after all, what a miraculous thing it is to be able to blend in where ever you want? Cham is a fairly hands off lusus, but not entirely by choice. Blythe is just so energetic that they have a hard time keeping up with him. When they're out and about, Cham rides on Blythe's back, akin to a scaly backpack that does its best to blend in. Cham's tongue is their main source of defense for Blythe.
Cham encourages Blythe to follow his pumpbiscuit, but wishes that he would be a little less reckless about it. They're pleased that Blythe found a family in the cult, and hopes it will be a good influence on him as he grows.
