xxxxxxxxx█ She is quite affectionate and seems to care little about personal space. Her antics can often appear to be a type of flirting, but it is hard to tell if she is aware of that fact. Most of the time she shows her cheerful side, but she can be serious when the situation calls for it. She is actually quite intelligent, understanding and aware of her surroundings. Despite how it may seem, It is hard to gain her trust. She also doesn't care to be involved in what one might consider 'work', but she will do it if she must.

Dark Dust: Anything she touches with the palm of her hand or fingers is instantly infected without her consent. The dark dust buries into the object, whether it is inanimate or alive, and spreads like a fast-acting disease. If not dealt with soon it will cause the object or person to disappear completely. The process is sped up the longer she is touching the object or person. It can not infect others that happen to touch the infected. It isn't something that can be cured through normal magical means, but you can save yourself by chopping off the infected limb before it spreads too far. Liquids, mists and even some energy can also fall prey to this if she concentrates. It doesn't happen automatically though. Mental abilities are something she can not touch.
Star Dust: She can gather cosmic dust particles and bring them together to cause a small big bang. The power of the explosion depends on how much she gathers. It takes a little bit of time to gather the start dust--especially the more powerful she wants the blast to be. This attack can be thrown like a bomb.
She can also gather the dark dust, if there is any left, and reverse what she did by touching what was infected. This allows her to touch others normally, but it also means that she has to be using her powers almost all of the time in order to go through everyday life without anyone being the wiser.
Although she has gotten used to using it every day, she still starts off a bit drained when first jumping into battle--especially compared to someone who hasn't even used their power that day. She also has to be careful to keep a balance between the two or a catastrophic event could happen. It wouldn't end well for anyone.

xxxxxxxxx█ Her grandfather is the great Aeryn Rotavele. He always doted on her when she was younger. They had a strong relationship. He was the one that found out about Ander first and accepted him as her playmate. It meant the world to her because she was good friends with him. Her parents, although great in their own right, was not pleased when they found out that she had been hanging out with a LeVane. It was one of the few things they got into fights about.
She met Ander when they were five years old at a nearby playground when someone besides her parents brought her there. It didn't take long for them to become fast friends. First, they merely met up randomly at the park, but after a while they found other ways to meet up with each other--especially as they got older. Their relationship started to fall apart when they were teenagers though. That's because she started to change. It was around twelve years old when she stopped hanging out with him. She'd always made excuses before she eventually just stopped replying to him completely. It didn't matter what he did. She had decided to push him out of her life. A couple years later, they ran into each other again; although she never found out if that was an accident or not. She wanted nothing to do with him, but he just couldn't help but meddle in her life. They met up more times than she would have liked--mostly because he was a stalker (it's what she believes). Their interactions never went well. They were fifteen when the incident happened. One that changed everything once again.
The reason she distanced herself was because of her power. It manifested when she was eleven years old in the worst kind of way. One afternoon, she had just separated from her friends in order to head home when someone pulled her into an alleyway all of the sudden. One thing led to another and the next thing she knew the culprit was screaming out profanities while demanding her to fix him. She had no idea what was going on and just started running. Things didn't get better though. When she stopped to catch her breath she rested her hand on a fence that promptly started to be eaten away by blackness. Considering the fact that she was still freaking out it caused her to bolt once more. By the time she reached her house, she left mini-disasters in her wake and was in her underwear. She stood there paralyzed until her father spoke up from behind.
Things didn't get better for her after that. Her parents tried to help her figure out how her power worked--or at least how to control it. She had to learn new ways to do the most basic of tasks. After a year her life went back to normal as much as it could. The main component missing was Ander. As much as she tried to hide her power she still managed slipped up and soon the whole school started to bully her worse than before. She was already acting strangely after all. It wasn't long before she was pulled out to be homeschooled. As the years passed she became more tainted. She was definitely heading straight to the path of villainy. Then Ander came back into her life like a pesky thorn in her side.
One day, he found her on her knees clearly distraught. She didn't even notice him approach at first. Instinctively she knocked the hand that was placed on her shoulder away with her forearm just to accidentally graze her fingers against his leg. She didn't realize how close he was since her eyes were closed beforehand. Instantly she panicked and tried to help him only to make it worse. He was dying and she could do nothing about it. The only one who never treated her differently after her power manifested was going to disappear because of her. Not even thinking she cradled him close--which sped up the process. She wasn't holding him like a loved one that just died. No, she was holding him while desperately trying to save him despite the odds. She tried everything she could--even kissed him. It happened when he was starting to look indistinguishable with his leg seemingly already gone. Black particles littered the air around them. Ander started to return back to normal.
After that day, they finally acted like friends again. They even had a long talk about everything that has been happening. He was the only person she confessed everything to--never wanting to talk about her dark past again. She also realized that she only tapped into half of her power and that's why she was having problems. It was no one's fault though. Everyone just assumed what was going on. It didn't take her long to figure out the basics of what she needed to do in order to live normally; although it took her a while to get used to using her power so often just to do everyday things. After a while, she got to enter a school where no one would know her.
Now, ten years later, she got roped into being Ander's slave; although, she is obviously the real one in charge. It wasn't an official role at first. She worked more behind the scenes. Well, she still does technically. It's not like she has to teach anything after all. She's fine with it though. He is her best friend turned savior after all. She'd do anything for him--within reason. There is no way she'd let him get away with something ridiculous.

Ada locked eyes with the other despite the fact that there wasn't a lot of light filtering into the place. The headmistress crossed her arms right below her chest. She wasn't upset at getting ignored since she figured the music that was filtering out of his headphones turned him deaf. How could it not? Her slight 'don't you dare try to lie to me' attitude was her frustration about everything that had happened recently peaking through. If she wasn't focused on his illegal activities maybe she would have been surprised at what he was listening to at the time. Her eyes narrowed when he chuckled. He obviously didn't care about the predicament he was in. When he asked her to repeat what was said she uncrossed her arms and walked over. "Give me the joint." She held out her hand. Then, he asked the question.
Her dual-colored eyes narrowed as she stared at him. Subconsciously she realized that he was being rather polite and was someone that wasn't new to the school. At the moment, she didn't recall any specifics. Ada was too busy taking in the question. "List of duties?" She almost snapped while still letting the words roll out of her mouth. This was the reason she attempted to find a place to just relax by herself, but no. This little s**t had to ruin it. "No, of course I have no business to attend to in the garden. Why would I have the time to do anything remotely relaxing?" It was true. Although she didn't have something dire that needed to be done right that second, there was plenty she could be doing. Checking on Ander for instance--even though she was with him earlier. She just had this horrible feeling about the whole thing. The problem was that she was just running on fumes and haven't really had the chance to sit down to process it all. If she just kept going like she was she'd lose it. "Why do you come here?" It was a question that obviously was ignoring the fact that it was best to do illegal s**t away from prying eyes. If he gave that as a reason she'd punch him square in the face: probably. The real reason why it was asked was to stop her from venting. She was never good at doing such a thing--at least not verbally. Letting out all her thoughts, which she hadn't had time to process, to a student was not a good idea. That's why she stopped herself from saying anymore and tried to make him talk instead. Although she might have already given away why she was there. "I'm assuming you don't have class today." It was added as an afterthought and might have sounded like a question. She just wanted to see if he was actually skipping the first day of class. That would be two strikes.
