✎Personality:
Elise is generally laid-back and tends not to worry about things. She relies heavily on her powers to try and get out of sticky situations, and will crack jokes at serious times. While Elise is always willing to give input and advice about a situation, her suggestions are often inconsistent or unrealistic due to her childish mind. Elise also tends to take some games very seriously, and will become upset if she loses a simple board game or if one of her pranks backfires.
Because she was asleep for so long (and not a peaceful slumber), she insists on staying up later than usual to make up for lost time, stating that she only wants to "live it up" before she needs to sleep again.
✎Bio:
As a young child, Elise had a fairy normal childhood.
Her father was a Paladin, and her mother was a Cleric.
they did good deeds for the better of the land, but not for fame.
Their first mission involved a run-in with some dark monsters that somehow made it into the borders of their home-town, but it was nothing they couldn't handle.
After years of adventures,
Felicity and Lucian were happily married shortly before they had Etheri,
her older brother, and named after her father's father.
Two years later, Elise was born. While she did not possess light magic, she was able to to control plants and nature just like her Grandmother (on her mother's side).
As a young child, she was known to be quite the prankster and loved the outdoors.
After much convincing, Etheri took her to the forest to explore.
While exploring, they were encountered by a lady who appeared to be very old, dressed in a maroon cloak and had silvery-white hair.
She told the children she was hungry.
To the amusement of Elise, she conjured a small fruit tree and allowed the woman to take some fruit with her.
Upon tasting the fruit, however, the food was spoiled-
Turning out to be one of Elise's pranks all along.
As a result, The woman revealed herself to be a witch and cursed both of the children.
Elise, was first, immediately falling into a deep slumber she could not wake from.
She wasn't really sure what had happened after that, the last thing she heard was:
"People must take responsibility for their actions." in Elven.
She was in a deep sleep, often times having dreams that messed with her mind. In this dream-like world of hers, the trees were rotted, the only food around being the rotten apples she offered that woman. During this time, she felt tortured and wasn't sure what to do. Five years went by, and she aged in her sleep, having more dreams as time went on. The witch tried to finish the job by giving her a dream so powerful, it would kill her- but all it did was make her seize up. Something went wrong, as if the dream was only half as powerful as it was supposed to be. It didn't break the curse, but it broke her from sleep.
When Elise woke up for the first time in years, she wondered where her brother was. Her parent's mentioned he was in StarCreek and she set off to find him. Along the way, she had to get used to her new body. She was all grown up, and people began looking in her direction, one of them going as far as hitting on her, which caused her to fall on the spot. After a few minutes she woke up again and noticed the marking on her hand that she recognized from her dreams.
She looked in the care package her mother sent her off with. To her surprise there was a lovely kimono that would fit her much better than what she was wearing already.
Once in Starcreek, she was barely recognizable. Longer hair, Different clothes, and a new body that was all so foreign to her. She hoped that her brother would recognize her when the time came to find him.
