✎Personality: Jeanette has a lot of determination and it helps her to keep going towards goals until successful. Though she is very stubborn and will rarely change her views. She masks her vulnerability with being poised and elegant, sometimes coming off as unapproachable or snobbish. She is very patient and tolerate, as well as responsible and holds good manners. She focuses on her work and sense of responsibility, making her great to rely on. Gets suspicious easily and is very unforgiving and experiences lots of mood swings. ✎Bio: Jeanette was born in the early 1700’s in a village located near the green forests of Starcreek. She had a loving and doting father and mother and a younger sister whom she adored. It was a quiet village, not much went on except for the occasional scandal that the village women liked to gossip about. She helped her mother with the cooking and cleaning and other household chores. There was one day where she and her sister went out to the woods to pick out natural herbs for their family’s pharmacy. They weren’t far into the forest, so they could quickly hear the screams from the village. Quickly running back to find their home, they found the village on fire. People were running around, screaming, being slaughtered by men on stallions. Looking closer into the village, some of the younger children and teenagers were being swept up by the men and carried out of the village. In a panicked state, she quickly grabbed her sister and ran around the village, trying to get a look of what had become of their home. It was burning down and she fell into a shocked state, she couldn’t move. That is until she saw a stallion running right towards her and her little sister. She tried running into the direction of the forest, her sister trying to keep up with her longer legs and faster pace. Of course, she couldn’t outrun a horse though. She pushed her sister into a bush and faced her pursuer. Scooped up in one quick move, the last thing she saw of her village was the embers of it.
Jeanette was tied by her hands and taken far, it was a few days ride. They came upon to a facility of some kind.This is where the experiments began and this is where she gained her curse- sort of like an insertion. Through needles and countless brutal tortures, a demonic soul was transferred into her. She also gained a few abilities: healing tears for one thing and slight manipulation of demonic elements. Some years later, she lost track of the time, but a sudden fire broke out in the laboratory. She didn’t know the cause of it, just that she needed to escape. And that’s what she did. She ran and ran from the field, seeing other kids running from the facility as well. She couldn’t think of what to do, she ended up running all the way to her old village. When she got there, it was all in ruins. She went to her old house anyway to see if anything could be scavenged. All she could find was a partial burnt photo of her younger sister. She took it and not knowing what to do after that, she wandered around for ages until she came upon an abandoned house. She took new clothes from there and found a gold locket where she tucked the photo into. After that, she tried to go find another village to be apart of and tried to fit back into society as best she could. Though she found out that she could not age. Years had passed after she joined back in with other people and everyone around her died, except for her. She didn’t know if she was immortal now or was just stuck at a certain age forever. This made her move places a lot, trying to avoid suspicion from others. Over the years, things were lost to her- names and faces mostly, including her sisters name.
