Nov 1st

¤ It's been a week since I've acquired a home in town. I also managed to get a job to pay for this humble abode.
Soon enough, I should be able to do more for it after I've saved enough. Everyone in town seems to keep to themselves.
It's still relatively early in the day, I should really make the effort to meet some people.
If I am lucky, I might find someone who can help my sister. ¤

¤ I spent the rest of my day Lilac Spa & Relaxation.
I met three people, all of which seemed to be very friendly.
The first person I met; Sora Kitsu Who goes by just Kitsu); is some sort of Fox-like hybrid.
He works at the spa as a receptionist.
We had a small conversation about tea and books, subjects we were able to find common ground on.
He didn't seem overly confident at the fact he was a hybrid, but he did tell me something really important about magic-
That any magic- Even with drawbacks, is better than none at all.
I really should return the favor and let him borrow the book I promised.

The second person I met was a woman named Anna Askr.
She seemed lovely and definitely has a sense of humor.
Though, I might be overdoing it with the whole "Gentleman" thing.
I should really try to be more laid-back and relaxed like she is.
Not to mention man up and ask her to come with me to Cidne's sometime.
She has the Midas touch. If she touches any non-gold solid surface, including flesh, then the entirety of that object turns into gold coins. So if she touches anyone with her hands, she kills them.
I'd tell her about my flawed healing, but I don't want to rush into things by telling her my life's story.
Yeesh, not only was she right about the stress of lifting things, but about me too.
I'd better take things slow for now.

The third person I met was a woman in violet.
She entered the Spa rather late,
so I am unsure if an appointment was given.
I didn't hear much of the conversation,
but I believe her name was Rei.
She was some sort of princess from another kingdom,
who seemed to be responsible for healing Anna's leg.
A bit odd royalty would enter a spa, but I guess she had money to spare.

Overall, today went alright. Met some people, made an alright first impression. Better rest up so I can find that book~ ¤

Nov 2.

I was able to find the book for my friend, Kitsu. I kept it safe for him, but a lot
had happened today to keep me from giving the book to him. Anna entered
the restaurant that morning, and I learned she preferred her coffee with the
cream poured first. Something I hope to remember later. As I got their orders,
she was talking to another woman, who I assumed was a friend of hers. Her
name was Yukari. They talked about some of the events that happened
during Halloween, which I hadn't known about because I was unpacking.

As I was getting drinks for them, the woman in violet arrived in the restaurant.
I found out her name was Rei. A sweet girl, for sure. I felt a bad that I made
her wait for her food so long. I'm still trying to get the hang of my so-called
work ethic. It took awhile since I prepared a note for Anna on one of those
fancy papers that you put under coffee cups. I'm just glad the message
worked.

Yukari is an interesting one. She seemed a little sad while they were talking.
I think she was explaining something about her curse, but I payed no mind to
this. I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt on my watch, so I'll keep quiet about
curses for now. I just hope she's okay.

Rei also makes impressive drawings, she said they come from her memories
or even stories she'd like to write. She let me keep one of her drawings that I
have hanging up in the kitchen. I believe the word she wrote has something t
to do with friendship, but her elven is slightly different than mine.

Anna and I continued trying to make planning a date work. With two other
customers, I didn't want to outright say anything since I felt that might be
awkward for all of us. Well, sign-language wasn't a skill of mine, so Anna got
up from her seat to better communicate with me..Indeed she did. It's been
awhile since I had anyone act this way around me before. I'm glad she's more
flexible than I am at least. I really need to work on being less stiff and more
carefree.

Nov 3.

¤I worked the morning shift again to see Anna. She ordered French Toast and
some coffee. With her being the only customer there, planning a date was a
lot easier to talk about.

¤As we waited for my shift to end, we had a short conversation about family.
turns out Anna is adopted, which was pretty interesting. I started explaining
my situation with my family to her and about Elise. I miss them dearly, but if it
weren't for the curses I would have never met Anna.

¤She let me stay for the Night at her place. It's much larger than any home I
could dream of having. We had my favorite food, Sushi. And we enjoyed a
drink I never tried before. I believe it was called sake.

¤She was eager to show me the rest of the house. We ended up having a
good time. She definitely returned the favor for the rose I gave her. More so
than I expected.

Nov. 4

¤The next morning I decided to make Anna breakfast- Waffles with whipped
cream and strawberries. I served it to her and she asked me to join her. I had
to go back and get a plate of my own and some forks since it could get a bit
messy.. Aside from the small error I made, it was the most enjoyable breakfast
I had in awhile.

¤I was only able to work part of the morning shift at work. I received a letter
from someone back in my hometown referring to Elise. She's begun to seize
up and wake in and out of consciousness, saying very cryptic things. She's
aged five years since her slumber and I'm nervous that she'll spend the rest
of her life that way. It was about time I gave her a visit.

Nov 5 - Nov 20

¤I packed up some things and left town to go back to my homeland and see
Elise again. My parents were reluctant to see me, but I came in to check on
her otherwise. I told her I was trying my hardest to save her and that I loved
her very much. I would give anything to save my sister. Out of sheer
determination I tried healing her one more time.

(The writing here is scribbled as if his coordination had been messed with)
The mark on my hand glowed, and I was met with a splitting headache.
Multiple visions of that same b*****d witch entered my head, but they were all
scattered and hard to piece together. When I awoke from the visions, they told
me I started seizing up too, and encouraged me to stay awhile until they were
sure I was okay to go back to StarCreek.

(The rest of the entries go into great detail about how Etheri met back up with old friends in his hometown and his journey back to Starcreek once he got better.
Each day, the entries improve in handwriting until they are back to the neater cursive he usually writes in.)

Nov 21.

¤Well, I'm finally back in StarCreek. It was hard leaving everyone behind
again, but at least I have friends here too. It's only been a few weeks, but I
realize I've grown attached to this place.

I ran into Rei for the first time in a couple of weeks.
I'm glad she made some friends while I was gone.
Turns out, she met another princess named Luna.
I must've startled her when I greeted them at the park.
I was pretty wary after that since I didn't want to come off as a threat to her bodyguard.
Despite the awkward encounter I did my best to give her a warm welcome to StarCreek.
It's pretty crazy to think that there are not one, but two royals in town now.

Nov 23.

I worked the morning shift again at Cidne's today.
Rei was my only customer, yet she looked very exhausted when she came in.
I served her some green tea and scrambled eggs, which she seemed to enjoy as we talked.

Her drawing skills were still good despite how tired she was.
I remember the picture she made of her family, and we ended up talking about our families a little.
Of course, I told her of my sister, which I miss very much.
Without trying to put a damper on things, I didn't say much, but I learned why Rei was so exhausted.
Turns out she found a child at the hospital. She says that the child is pretty attached to her and plans on adopting him.

I then suggested to teach him to draw sometime to keep him distracted.
I always hated check-ups so I always relied on said distractions.
Well, It turns out the child is actually a baby. She plans on naming him Akio.

After that, I told her of my homeland.
It's been awhile since I had been there (With the exception of a couple days ago).
The land is called Elletalos, and it's always autumn there.
It sounded like Rei did a lot of exploring before she became a Princess.
The details about her home were pretty interesting.

Once our conversation ended, Rei wasn't looking too well.
She was beyond exhausted, and she looked as if she were about to fall over.
I already failed my sister when it came to passing out,
So I wanted to do what I could to help Rei.
I learned that Rei also has the power to speak telepathically.

I took her to her horse outside the restaurant.
The horse seemed smarter than most horses and well-trained, too.
I was able to help Rei onto her horse and I believe she made it home safely.
