Avvisi's camera crew was not with her. She was going a piece on those who volunteered at the ground control, and she had far more than enough footage for that, so her camera troll had signed off. But that was fine, she had her voice recorder with her, and her camera, so it wasn't like she was completely without. The tealblood was hanging outside the barracks where trolls who had just been up in space were coming down for a nice break. She had her camera and the microphone for her voice recorder out (it made her look more official) but was in general not pressuring anyone to talk. If they wanted to talk they would come to her. Besides, most of them looked exhausted, tired, and a little beat up. Not exactly A+ interview subject material.

Psy was psyched. What a good mission that had been - her first leadership role.

Psy suffered no illusions about ever leading anyone properly - she was a redblood and it just wasn't her style. But gosh, on the short term, taking command like that... It was exhilerating.

She was tired, but she was still running high -- Psy-high, haha! -- and looking for something interesting and productive to do with her good mood.

And there is just the thing -- A young tealblood with a voice recorder and a camera. Some kind of enterprising reporter, perhaps?

Public relations - it was almost (just almost) what she was hatched to do. Her grin came as easily as it always did, effortlessly bright and cheery. "Hello, hello!" she said to the tealblood, "Are you with the media?"

Her grin grew wider.

"Because, gosh, if you are, I have a story for you."

The tealblood was a little worried that she would not find anyone to interview. Or at least, no one who wanted an interview... Maybe she should have had her badge with her, the one that had her name, the name of her show, and the production company. She loved that badge. As she was just about to go back inside in defeat, someone came her way! Avvisi's eyes lit up as the pretty redblood came over. Perfect! A hard working redblood going into space, and looking so happy about it as well. Avvisi could not help but smile, even tho she would have of course smiled anyway.

"Oh excellent indeed!" Avvisi said excitedly
"Im from The Alternia News Blotter Show, you might have even seen me on the video tube yourself!" She said with a wink. She hoped trolls had been seeing her, she really really hoped. "And i would simply adore to have your story for my next special, an inside look on the brave trolls of Alternia, space edition." Avvisi got her mic out, and nodded. She was ready to record!

Psykgi had not seen the young Tealblood on the Telle-tube, but she was sure SOME-one did.

"Excellent! Because I have just successfully reclaimed the Cutting Cruelty of the Empress with an absolutely excellent volunteer squad, and we really cannot ignore the valuable contributions of these brave volunteers!"

She gave Avvisi (from the Alternia News Blotter Show, see, she remembered) an expectant smile. Of course, none of this was classified. She had seen those cameras recording and televising some of the big runs. As the commander of this mission, and someone with PR experience, she had managed to get the appropriately censored and edited footage (on a nice flashgrub that she had currently cozy and safe in her pocket.)

The official government media didn't particularly care about a redblood-led volunteer mission, but gosh, it wouldn't be bad for a small independent news source to pick that up. Hot footage? Brave trolls doing Alternia proud? Come volunteer for Alternia's greater good! was the message she wanted to get out. With, of course, a heavy emphasis on recruitment, on Gosh, volunteering is great, but do you know what is better? Being in the military.

Then again, volunteers were disposable. Which was nice...

Anyway.
