"Mihail you aren't understanding me. This means cleaning up after really dirty and nasty trolls and I'm just not willing to put up with that tonight or EVER." Knetic doesn't understand how Mihail can be so nonchalant about this. It was a s**t job, literally and he was just fine going to clean after other trolls like some ******** drone. Hell no. His friend should have more self respect than that. The only troll he should clean up after is himself dammit.

"If seeing a space ship means means cleaning up s**t then I am gone." Knetic pouts and crosses his arms over his chest. This is a ludicrous argument to be having. Alternia has drones why the ******** aren't they cleaning up load gappers. ******** mind boggling.

His ears perk up significantly when he hears the words go to the forest and his mind instantly goes to one thing: Saws. Oh he was going to buzz some ******** trees and it was going to be brutal. Those trees will never know what's coming for them. It's Knetic, trees, and he's armed to the teeth. Bring it on.

"Mihail. We were just saved from the worst job in the world by the grace of some trees. Now let's go show our respect by absolutely wrecking their existence."

He does pout when Mihail warns him about cutting people, however. "Mihail, I know they're dangerous and I have no intention of actively trying to dismember or disfigure anyone. If they get in my path then it's their own damn fault and I will not be held responsible and vice versa." He grins widely, hoping that assuaged his best friend enough to not watch his every move once he lights this bad boy up and starts ripping into wood fibers.

s**t, let's be ******** lumber-trolls.

Apparently Knetic talking so loudly about potentially dismembering someone set the person in charge of overseeing the tree cutting crew on edge. Mihail hadn't even gotten as far as opening his mouth to address them before they raised a hand and cut him off. "No, no, we're fine here! Why don't you go find something else to do over in 4C. This area has enough workers." They hurriedly waved off the group of trolls before turning to go assist in tree cutting.

Well. That solved that problem of Mihail's. "They really need to work on their sta-staffing..." He sighed, shaking his head. "Gue-guess you don't ha--have to worry about getting someone with a saa-a saw now." More like now he didn't have to worry about Knetic getting someone with a saw. Beloved as he was, Mihail wouldn't put it past Knetic to do it. For Science, of course.

He started off toward Delta 4C, wondering what they could possibly be getting into this time. It seemed that most crews already had enough people, but... Steel beams needed to be transported from one side of the ground to the other, and they just... simply didn't have enough drivers for the forklifts.

Dread immediately filled Mihail as he looked over to Knetic. Desperately, he looked for something else to do- anything, something that Did Not involve heavy machinery, but alas!! There was nothing else. This was the only place that seemed to be lacking workers. "A-ah.... I guess... We-we're... Going to dr-drive forklifts..." He laughed uneasily, but pushed forward to go address the supervisor. It wasn't like they could just... go home, right?

Logically he knew they could, but Knetic would probably be upset that he'd elected to go home over letting him drive a forklift. "Great, you four, get into those lifts and move these beams from here over there. Drive slow! We don't need any more accidents..." The supervisor gestured to the four unused forklifts, then bustled off to go yell at another troll that was moving too quickly.

Any... any more accidents? The unease Mihail felt earlier only doubled.

Wait what? They weren't going to be wielding chainsaws? What the actual hell. This is crap; every time something interesting comes up, like drill work and chainsaws, they get moved to some new part of the grounds. The sheer lack of coordination and constant movement around was driving Knetic up a proverbial wall.

His ears do perk however, when he catches wind that they will be driving fork-lifts. Now this could be interesting.

"Say, do you think they'll be teaching us how to run these things? Or do they assume we already know?" Not that it particularly mattered. Knetic was still going to be behind the wheel of a very large and very dangerous machine with no prior knowledge and knowing his own clumsy nature, this would not end well.

"Well I call dibs on this one!" He bounds forward to the closest one and climbs on up, instantly giddy by how many buttons and knobs the dashboard had. He was going to touch every single one.

"I wonder what this button does...?" Knetic carefully pushes a small green button and quirks a brow when nothing happens. "What the...?" He inspects the panel and then knocks his palm against his forehead. "Forgot to turn it on, silly Knetic." laughing at his own nonsense, he pushes the ignition in and cackles when it roars to life.

"Oh ho ho yes, this is going to be fun!" He squirms in delight and then places his hands on the levers. "I think...these move it..." He wasn't sure but that's never stopped him before. With a grin to scare any one in their right mind, he yanks the levers back and shouts when the machine cranks forward much faster than he anticipated. This was going to end in utter disaster and Knetic was going to laugh the entire way through it.

Gwenyn had been listening to every single word.

The greenblood had been doing her own thing, working on her own stuff when two particularly loud purplebloods had began to work a little too near her, a little too loudly. One stuttery with beady eyes and a firmer sense of duty, a dark purple, something that would look fairly glossy if cut, another with lighter blood-- hue just a couple shades lighter with gold laced into his clothing and glasses similar to her own. A star was placed delicately into his hair, with the occasional gold highlighting his outfit. Eyes wandering over toward the purplebloods, one demanded she work on getting the wires off the ground-- As if she'd pay attention to him and his stuttery mess. She was a troll of her own, and she didn't need instructions to do well. She'd work on her own. Their inteligence could not compare to her own. They were being friendly to an orangeblood, or maybe, the other way around-- Dirty, smelly, cut up and bruised, definitely some sort of street dweller... Gwenyn adjusted her glasses and hummed low-like, expression neutral and empty, continuing to ignore the others until a particularly interesting phrase was spoken. While she had picked up that the troll with the glasses was more scientifically inclined, the other was more, well, fighty. And he seemed to be doing almost everything for the other. Or at least, in attempts to keep him out of trouble.

"Voluntary, shm-oluntary, you know this is mandatory for low bloods. Probably. Adult trolls that give a s**t about the spectrum sure do make a fuss about the lower rungs being 'involved' when it's really just a cover up for slavery." Her eyes crinkled slightly at the corners. She seemed eager. Instead, she kept quiet, waiting. The other shut him up, but Gwenyn had definitely heard that word for word. She waited until they were all alone and the rest of the trolls were alone. Her primary target was on a dangerous machine, but she didn't need to speak to him very much. Mostly to the other. Her lips curled into a small smile as she gave him a small wave. "You know," She started, voice holding slight amusement as her hands curled around a tool she'd been using earlier. "Slavery's kind of a harsh way to put it." Gwenyn mentioned offhandedly, eyes unchanging, smile not quite reaching her eyes. She was thankful Darty wasn't around. He'd probably reprimand her. It wasn't that she believed in the spectrum, but when she saw an opportunity, she found it was more beneficial to take it than to ignore it. Especially ones like these.

Oh no. Ohhhh no. Mihail paled at the grin on Knetic's face, but before he could object, his friend was already taking off in what was basically a glorified death machine. Instead he ended up dragging his hands down his face, miraculously managing not to make an audible whine. He was going to get himself hurt- or someone killed. Definitely. No question about it.

His attention was diverted from Knetic's inevitable crash by a small wave in the corner of his vision. He snapped to attention, hands at his side as the greenblood from before approached. Did he ever get her name? No-- this... was the first time she'd spoken to any of them this entire time. Something about her was setting him on edge though- the smile that didn't quite reach her eyes was definitely part of it but there were plenty of trolls that had that trait. He swallowed, eyes flickering off to the side to where Knetic should be for a moment, then back to her. So she had heard his outburst... He'd have to handle this very carefully.

"And inco--incorr---ect. Th--this is vol--uh-- voluntary." Mihail kept his tone level, doing his best not to show how one edge she was making him. Though, there was only so much a kid could do not to show their discomfort, after all. "He-he-he wasn't thi--thinking, ab--about his wuh--words. He does that."

"Hmm." Gwenyn's hands shifted to behind her back, lips still very smiley. Her eyes stayed dull and empty. She stepped a little nearer, hair swishing along with her head as she tilted her head a smidgen. "Voluntary." The greenblood repeated, hands grasping at her elbows as the weight of her body shifted from one leg to the other. "Does he." It was less of a question, more of an answer, but she glanced up to Knetic anyways. "Sounds unwise. Especially for someone of his calliber. What would others say if something like that went out?" Her voice held the barest hint of amusement.

Mihail's eyes narrowed as he watched her- he did not like where this was going. Not one bit. "They---they'd pro---probably s--say he's a fo--foolish wrig--wriggler. Si--since he's a ki--kid 'n all. Li--uh, like us." He leveled her with a flat stare, mouth forming a thin frown. "Why wou- uh, would anyone-- anyone hear something that's already been been been said 'n passed?" If she was going to suggest what he thought she might suggest, he wasn't about to have it. Knetic had a knack for saying things he shouldn't and sure, Mihail wouldn't always be there to clean up after him, but this time he was and if there was something he could do about it... he would.

Gwenyn did not look at Mihail. Her gaze was focused on the machine and her eyes were unblinking and void of emotion. "Sure." She responded to the kid, vague and uncaring. She knew that wasn't the case. If she blabbed about that, who knew what would happen? "Hmm." Especially with a highblood? "Oh, I don't know, it's just a... simple, what if. You know?" She blinked slowly at him, lightly tinted glasses hiding her real emotions through the shine from the moon. "I wouldn't say anything, oh no. Not without urging. Or if someone asked me about it, you know." She was trying not to imply too much, but her usually dry, uninterested voice was betraying her by sounding more amused than before. "You know they do that, right." Again, not a question. A statement. "They tell you you should rat out your friends if they say things like that." She hummed a little.

His mouth formed a thin line of a frown as she spoke. So she was going to go that route after all, hm? "Y--yes, they do that, do--don't they." He folded his arms across his chest, unsure where to take this next. She hadn't made any demands, and he wasn't exactly willing to make offers without knowing what it was she might want. Greenbloods... Ugh. "B--ut again... you kno--know, it's a se---seeerious sort of... Thing to s--say, ab--about so--some one you don't ac--ac-actually know."
