✎Personality: Taehyun is rather meek and weakwilled, he can also be a bit of a cry baby. He can be easily spooked, which is why he hates horror movies. He's a very polite person, trying his best to treat others as he'd want to be treated. He's not the type of person who wants to make waves and dreads bringing a lot of attention to himself. He'd rather be at home reading a good book or playing a game, than to be out at a party. He's not shy, just cautious about his surroundings. Unfortunately due to a terrible past experience he has serious trust issues. This has led to some anxiety over being touched and being in large groups. However if one can be patient enough to get past his barriers, they will find he's really quite sweet and gentle. A bit quiet, but overall good company. He's always willing to lend an ear to a friend and help out when possible. Those especially close to him can be doted upon, even those older than him. He rather likes taking care of people. He's very book smart, but the same can't be the same for his street smarts since he spends a lot of time inside. Which coupled with his weak body makes him seem rather helpless. He wishes to get over the trauma of his past and live a happy, peaceful life. However he sees that as impossible and stays in a near perpetual state of despair.
✎Bio: Taehyun is the youngest of three children, growing up in his family home in South Korea. He lived a very happy life with his older siblings and parents. He did very well in school, scoring high among his classmates. He held big dreams and aspirations for the future, wanting to become a pediatrician. He didn't make many friends, but the ones he did have he deeply cherished. In the middle of his second year of high school he was asked to tutor a boy from another class. Being the kind soul he was. he happily agreed. Thus he was introduced to Seungho and began tutoring him 4 days out of the week after school. As they spent more and more time together, they grew rather close. Soon they started hanging out outside of school. Sadly Taehyun was unaware of the feelings growing inside of his friend. That is until the day, Seungho confessed his feelings to him. While surprised and a bit flattered by the confession, he had to turn him down as while he found the other attractive he held no romantic feelings. He wanted to remain friends, however the mood around the two changed. Seungho became a bit.. unhinged and creepily possessive. It got to the point where Taehyun had to break off their relationship. Unfortunately that just seemed to make things worse, his former friend began to stalk him and trying to sabotage any and all romantic relationships he tried to have. It got to the point where he had to get a restraining order against the other. That seemed to work for a while, he was able to return to his peaceful life. Little did he know a plan was being plotted against him. One day while leaving school he was pulled into an alleyway at knife point. Finally getting to see his assailant he was surprised, and yet not,
to see it was Seungho. It seemed he had gotten to a point where if he couldn't have Taehyun then no one would. He attacked the much smaller male, which lead to a scuffle, which was a useless effort. Held down on the ground, his throat was slit. By some odd stroke of luck, the cut wasn't bad enough to be fatal. Making the quick decision to play dead saved his life. His attacker not having much medical knowledge thought the job done and left. Lying still for several minutes, Taehyun quickly sat up and tried to stop the bleeding while trying to find help. He quickly found someone who called for an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital. Turns out the cut barely missed vital arteries, any deeper and he'd have been dead. Being taken care of promptly by medical professionals the wound was taken care of. After that he told the police about the encounter whom promptly performed an arrest. His stalker was put in jail, but the attack left more than physical wounds. He no longer wanted to remain at home, he wanted to get far away to try and recover.
His family was saddened by his decision but greatly understood. He moved from place to place for over 2 years before eventually finding himself in StarCreek. While he liked his new home, he was unaware of the curse that would befall him.
