Angelo smiled at little Akio who was peering at him with interest and made a face at him, causing him to giggle. It was a good sound. "Maybe you and Akio can visit me one day. I can play the violin for you two. I'm sure you would love it." he said as he reached out to pat the little one on the head before retracting his hand and finishing off his food and iced tea. He wondered if Rei would mind dessert? Maybe he could take something back with him.

A small smile of contentment appeared upon the princess's face while watching her little boy giggle in delight. Her gaze shifted back towards Angelo for a brief moment. "That would be great!" Rei answered him, nodding in agreement. Taking the chopsticks in hand once more, she ate what was left of the sushi on her plate. Though keeping the chopsticks out of Akio's reach proved quite tricky as he grasped one stick with his tiny hand. Rei tried gently prying it out of his hand, but Akio wanted to nibble on the end. "No sweetheart, this isn't something to play with." she spoke softly, attempting to convince her boy to let go.

Occ: Should we end the dinner and head home? As I think the day change is tomorrow.

Angelo smiled at the scene before reaching over into the baby bag and pulling out a small, stuffed fox and handed over to Akio who instantly let go of the chopstick and made he grabbing motions to the toy which he was happy to give him. "Here you go, little man." he said, smiling as he watched the kit happily Che on the Fox's ear happily. "I made sure to place some toys in the bag for him too just in case he ever got bored." he said before ordering dessert and taking it home with him. It was better that way.

"Good thinking! Keeps him busy, that's for sure." Rei replied with a small smile. She was glad to see her boy enjoying his new toy with a grin on his face. After a few brief moments, the waiter returned with her companion's order once more. Rei soon finished her supper, then the rest of her tea. Carefully she folded up the pictures and placed them both in her pocket to bring home. "Hmm, it's getting quite late." Rei spoke, noting the moon's position in the sky from outside the nearest window. No doubt, it would be quite a long evening. Though Rei wasn't so certain heading home again on foot would be such a good idea considering the way some of the residents of StarCreek acted during the late hours, especially towards young children from what she noticed since her arrival.

Angelo laughed and nodded. "That it will." he replied after a second before paying the waiter. "My treat since it's your birthday." he said with a smile as he gathered up his dessert. He noticed her hesitation before making a decision. "Hey. Would you like me to drive you two home?" he asked after a minute of thinking about it. He found that he didn't enjoy the thought of Rei and her little one walking through the city this time of night. Nope. That idea did not sit well with him at all.

Carefully, Rei gathered up the items she'd received from her companion, placing Akio in the infant carrier. She made sure to keep the hairpin within an empty slot in the bag, out of little Akio's reach. "Yes, I think that would be a good idea." the princess answered Angelo with a slight nod in agreement, picking up the carrier after standing up. Rei put on the infant carrier which sat evenly from behind on her back, made just like the ones she'd seen in books once from some far off country. After gathering her things, the princess walked on out of the restaurant with Angelo towards the parking lot, hearing mostly the crickets chirping among the other unusual night sounds.

Angelo followed Rei out to the parking lot before leading her to his truck. "Here we go." he opened the passenger side to his truck so that she could strap her son in the back before getting in herself. "Are you sure you have everything?" he asked her as he awaited for her to her into the truck so they could be off. He ignored the sounds around him as well as the feeling of being watched as he waited for Rei' s response. He realized that he didn't like being in the city after dark unless he was going to a club and not even then. He shook off the feeling of unease.

Carefully, Princess Rei got into the truck once Angelo opened the door for her. She simply nodded in reply to his question, keeping hold of little Akio while he was still in the carrier, leaving the carrier upon her lap. "Quite an interesting day. Didn't think the children would be so eager to have me join them to play while they wait for their appointments." Princess Rei spoke observantly, smiling with joy. It was quite the rare occasion seeing them all so cheerful, though most of their parents must have been used to people like her from what she noticed as of late. Her gaze was temporarily on the road, noting there weren't very many metal vehicles going to and fro along the paths nearby.

Angelo smiled as he closed the door to the passenger side before heading over to the driver's side, getting in, closing the door, starting the truck and then heading off into the night. "Yeah. Children are pretty good judges of character. If they like you, then they like you. They can also tell when someone isn't right. They like you. You put them at ease." he replied, never taking his eyes off the road. He made sure that the headlights were on before driving to Rei's street as he knew it from before. Exit Cindie's
