Another group formally career-based through "Fueled By Ramen"; (the makers who brough you Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Yellowcard, Cute is What We Aim For, and other countless classics).
I recently listened to their CD and as usual, it's your regular
'I hate the scene, get away from me',
my 'girlfriend broke up with me, I'll be depressed',
and 'let's pretend we're serial killers and wash the sheets' songs.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but if we have about 100 bands singing about the same things, but in different words and with slightly higher or lower vocals, along with the jumpy guitar, wouldn't the general view of 'emo' be slowly slaughtered?
I'm curious about opinions to the band as well as any other things that someone might have to say about the similarities and differences in bands nowadays.
