The night was still young, the air still warm from the blazing Alternian sun. One of Four Frond's many, many parks had been hijacked by the Superstar staff in preparation for contestant booths.
Off to one side, standing on a wooden crate, was Frossa Fyrste. She was barking orders to a small handful of workers, instructing them on where precisely to hang strings of lights for the most aesthetically pleasing display. Someone neared her and held up two different bunches of balloons- one in various shades of purple, one black, purple and pink. She slapped both of them out of their hands. 'YELLOW', she articulated so clearly, even the dullest of trolls could have read the words on her lips.
Everything had to be perfect. There was no room for error.
Speaking of which- Frossa turned to peer down at the crate she was standing on. It was marked with the logo of Underworld. It seemed like all of her sponsorship merchandise was accounted for, except for Lorata Gorgos' eyewear. She'd only met the seadweller a few times as acquaintances, but had requested a sponsorship solely out of purpleblood solidarity. Maybe they could get lunch or something! It was always good to have more classy, capable, purpleblooded friends.

As if the very thought had summoned her, Lorata Gorgos appeared. She didn't appear to have been in any great hurry to get here, glancing around curiously as she approached to take in everything that could be seen of the decorating process and, beyond that, the forest itself. It was becoming more and more apparent that she really ought to be spending more time out this way. Behind her, the worker carrying her crate of merchandise seemed more than ready to get to where they were going, though they wisely weren't saying as much.
"Frossa!" Catching sight of just the troll she'd come looking for, Lorata beamed. She'd always hoped that they might be friends, but somehow they'd never really spoken much. Accepting her application had seemed like just the chance they needed to properly meet, so she'd taken it on herself to deliver her things in person. "It's so good to see you again! Looks like I brought these at a good time."

"Ah- Lorata! So good to see you! Welcome, welcome~." Frossa hopped off the crate, skipping over to the significantly more glamorous purpleblood. Taking Lorata's hands into her own, she gave a little squeeze of greeting. The attendant behind Lorata wasn't even spared a glance- although the merchandise they carried garnered one.
Frossa released her grip, throwing her hands over her cheeks. "Ooh! I'm ever so pleased that you came, but I never would have expected you to come out all this way to deliver this in person. How gracious of you!" Frossa pointed at one of the workers to retrieve the crate of eyewear. "Yup, things are almost ready. Just doing the finishing touches now." Frossa shuffled over to the left, to center herself in front of her booth, then struck a pose. "Just a few more nights before the public gets to meet Frossā~!"
She withdrew, throwing her arm behind her head and giggling. "But that's for later. Do you come to Four Fronds often?" closing the gap between them, Frossa rocked on her heels and continued to excitedly barrage Lorata with questions. "You must be tired from the trip all the way here! Perhaps we should grab a late lunch? There's a nice place nearby." Frossa had already gone there once today for a meal but; a second time couldn't hurt! "Or perhaps you'd like to look around here longer? There's other booths being set up too!"
