The other troll’s weapon clattered to the ground and Tamiya’s own was less effective than she would have liked, resounding smack against Zeylla’s arm notwithstanding. Tamiya stood, braced for attack, but with a hand slick with blood and another recovering from her wild blow she could not prepare for the direct hit to the side of her head.
Indescribable colors flowered in Tamiya’s vision in the explosive punch that followed. She was spun, knocked towards the opening of the alley, barely able to tell which way was inward, outward or up in her current state. Static and wavering objects made seeing anything other than distinct values difficult, but she could still see them. Those damn horns!
Swaying but still on her feet, Tamiya brought her hands up. The vague sound of clattering made her register that she’d lost her grip on her weapon, but the glittering and shifting shapes of her golden talons were still visible in front of her rapidly blackening vision. Gold and orange, gold and orange. She leapt towards the twisting shapes of Zeylla’s horns and raked whatever hair, cloth, flesh she could find on the way down. Tamiya passed out as she hit the concrete.
Tamiya deals 6 damage!

HP 0/17!
Zeylla watched the purpleblood stumble, and her wildly beating pump biscuit began to settle. The other troll looked ready to topple over. Zeylla almost felt guilty for what she eas about to do, but she had to make sure she could get away. She began to step in for another punch when Tamiya straightened and came at her.
Those claws, how had she forgotten them? The pipe had been dropped in her opponents stumbling, and she had forgotten those golden contraptions even existed. She threw her arms up, but Tamiya was already close, and her first swipe scraped her forehead, cutting her like paper from the hairline to the brow before Zeylla could fend her off. Her attack continued on her arms though, and Zeylla couldn't see out of one eye as the blood poured from her wound. Her bloodpusher was racing again, and nausea struck her light lightening.
The world was swimming, blood was everywhere and Tamiya was falling? Zeylla stumbled back as the assault stopped, her arms throbbing with scraps and cuts, sleeves torn and sheared. Tamiya was facefirst on the ground, out cold. Zeylla dropped to her knees, trying to calm herself, and hold back the sudden urge to be sick.
Her hands. They were running with rivulets of her blood, and her head throbbed, cool blue dripping into its own puddle, her eye squinted shut. She stayed like that for a moment, staring at her hands and feeling ill and dizzy and disgusted. But she couldn't stay here, the troll laying before her could wake up at any moment. She had to leave.
Struggling to her feet, the world spinning, Zeylla wrapped herself as best she could and slipped out of the alley, slowly(unsteadily) and carefully making her long way back to her temporary hive to clean up and nurse her wounds. |
