Calida was always enchanted by the mall. It held so many inspiring and amazing things, from utensils to clothes to trolls of varying shapes, sizes and colors. It was quite an event when Calida had enough money to go there for any reason. Her reason this time: clothes. She needed a new wardrobe or at least garbage clothes that she could buy in bulk and then edit later for her needs. This need lead Calida to a rack of clearance clothes in one of the departments. Mami Squawked and made other bird noises that Calida ignored as she focused on the clothing rack.

Fact was, these pieces were hideous and she was having a hard time coming up with any way of using them, but they were all she could afford. Cali let out a low and agitated squawking noise then brought her hands to her face, exasperated by her own lack of creativity. "I don't know how I'm going to work with any of this..."

Civisect, known to be trendy and the it town. Fancy, barely affordable for tourists, made by highbloods for highbloods, really. Even in the mall it was somewhat easy to tell. And yet, for all the glitz and light, the clearance section managed to have some absolute abomiations. Did they really expect any of this to sell? Ever?

She stopped at some stained plaid and frowned. Whoever pitched this idea deserved to be fired. Immediately. And possibly shamed for such terrible taste.

As Mera did the terrible act of mentally slandering unknown fashion fiends, she overheard someone squawk and whine. She looked over to see a child, very well-dressed and incredibly colorful, also apparently suffering in this hell.

"Admittedly some of these might have to be redyed before they have any chance at being worn by anyone with any self-respect." As she continued to finger through the racks, she stopped at something hellaciously loud. "And some will be lucky if pieces of them will be sewn into a generally-black-look sparingly."
